TRISTAN CALLOWAY

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked my bestfriend who stopped at my apartment for a drink.

"I was just wondering, why are you ignoring her calls?" Zaden asked.

I took a deep breath and looked at him. "You don't want to know."

"What do you mean I don't want to know? Look, she'd been disturbing me like a fly everyday in the company. She keeps coming to my office to beg me to tell you to pick her call."

"You should know how to deal with her." I told him casually. "Tell your secretary to send her away anytime she sees her."

He stared at me surprisingly. "I don't want to do that to her because she's your girlfriend, Tristan."

I looked at the window sill of my parlour, the sun was still shining brightly.

"Tristan." Zaden said softly. "What's happening between you and Meira. You've never been so mad at her like this before, did you see her with someone?"

"Look Zaden, as much as I want to tell you this but I'm quite busy, there's somewhere I have to go." I announced.

"Well, then I'll get going, thanks for the drink." He got up and took his coat. "See you at the company tomorrow." He strode out of my apartment in a blink of an eye.

I took a quick shower and dressed into a grey suit with a beautiful grey necktie. I took my briefcase and walked out of my house, locking the door, I drove to the PalaceHall in my black BMW. The palaceHall was a very long place from the place I worked so I had to drive very fast.

The moment I reached to the company, I unhooked my seat belt and took my brief case. I looked at the company once again with the word 'PALACEHALL' boldly written in the front, it was my second time coming here. I got out of my car and headed directly into the hall, they was a lot of people going in and out of the hall so I was very fast.

I was walking fast and I immediately bumped into a young lady with a blond hair. "Ouch!" She exclaimed, checking her leg. I don't know why girls love wearing heels when they know it gives them a hard time while walking. The lady finally realised her leg was fine and when she looked up, she was silent. Silently staring at me as if I had two heads.

The lady was wearing a white floral dress and a small side bag, She let her hair fall into tiny pretty braids. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" She yelled at me and I snapped out of the trance.

"Are you alright?!" I managed to ask.

"I'm alright as long as you know how to watch your front when you're walking!" She yelled at me once again in a rude manner and spunned on her heels.

I followed her and grabbed her tiny arm slightly, turned her to face me abruptly. "How dare you yell at me? Who do you think you are?"

She glared at me with her big eyeballs and she tried to yank away her hand but she couldn't. She was the first person to ever yell at me since after my elementary school, I wouldn't let it slip so easily.

"Let go off my hand, you asshole!" She whispered.

"What? Asshole! I'm an attorney, I can make you suffer for calling me an asshole." I told her.

Her expression changed immediately and I assumed I got her. "Please let go, you're hurting me." She pleaded and I could see it in her eyes so I quickly let go off her hand and looked away.

"Apologise for calling me an asshole." I gave her a chance.

She rubbed her wrist and pick up her file that fell off when I caught her wrist. "I'm not gonna apologise." She said and stalked off.
