TRISTAN'S POV
"I'll be moving from my house for some reason." Zaden told me after meeting at the office.
"You'll be moving somewhere new? Where?"
He told me the address, as if he was expecting me to cram it or something. "That's exactly where Irene Cyrus is living!"
"Irene Cyrus?! Oh, that rookie. How do you know where she lives?" He asked curiously.
"Oh, just. She begged me to give her a ride last week and I remembered the address." I lied to him.
He nodded his head. "That's unlike you."
He had been busy throughout the week, I didn't know he was packing. Maybe because I didn't cared to ask. He walked swiftly and sat on the sofa opposite mine in the centre of my office and ducked his head. "What about those two rascals? You still didn't do anything?"
"I've been avoiding her lately and she didn't seem obsessed like she use to be, I'm sure Dunstan is treating her well."
"That asshole. I feel embarrassed to call him my younger brother." Zaden said and shook his head. "But I trust you."
"Tristan!" Meira called my name after arriving at my office immediately I finished having a conversation with Zaden.
"I told you not to come to my office." I reminded her. "What do you have up your sleeve this time around?"
"You shouldn't speak to me like that I'm your girlfriend." She cried. "I was worried about you and I came to see you, how's your illness. Are you feeling better?"
"I can't come to the office if I'm so ill, so please you can see."
She took a deep breath and let a tear fall down her face. "Everyone is talking about us in CityHall, they know we're dating."
"They'll soon stop talking about it." After I break up with you!
"Huh?" She asked confused.
"Nothing." I said closing the file in front of me. "Don't you have anything to do? I'm quite busy right now."
"Come on, act human for once. I came to see you because I was sick worried about your disease or whatever, but you're sending me away." She started grumbling before I heard a knock on the door.
"Come in." I said.
The door opened and Irene Cyrus appeared after a few minutes. She had dressed into a blue-black trouser and a white blouse, with her hair falling right on her shoulders and a file held accross her chest. She bowed her head exuberantly and greeted both of us as usual. It was nice seeing her after receiving a little headache from Meira. I offered her a seat and once she took a good look at Meira, she couldn't take her eyes off her and when Meira felt Irene's eyes on her, she look at her.
"Uhuhmm." I cleared my throat to stop the two from staring at each other but they didn't. "Irene, are you here for consultation?"
"What are you doing here?" Irene asked, pointing at Meira in surprise.
Meira in her own case was astonished too, but she didn't say anything until Irene spoke. They seem to know each other. "How funny! I wanted to ask you the same thing."
Irene tucked a pair of blonde hair behind her ear. "As you can see, I work here. I just ran into you in attorney Tristan's office and its quite surprising because I didn't know you guys knew each other."
Meira crossed her legs and smirked. "Right now I'm in my boyfriend's office and you just came in."
"Boyfriend?" Irene looked at me with wide eyes. "So you are the Meira that everyone is talking about in CityHall because you visit Tristan's office everyday like a fly."
