This is a John Lennon x reader self-insert fanfic set in the 70s in a world where the Beatles did not exist.
When you get a weekly job doing a newspaper round to help provide for your family, you take notice of a house secluded within forest upon a hill, realising that as long as you've lived in Liverpool, walking past it everyday, you've never seen anyone enter, or exit for that matter. Was it void of life? Getting all the answers from a neighbour, you decide that maybe the person living there would like a newspaper next week.
The story starts in November of 1972. For the sake of your imagination, John is supposed to look like this at the beginning of the book.*

*This story isn't completely historically accurate in terms of people and timeline. I've tried to keep most aspects of the story close to reality, but other things I have altered. Don't think about it too much - I'm just writing this for a bit of fun.
I have this story planned out quite a bit into the future. Each chapter title is either a Beatles/John song title, or lyric. This could be used as a playlist if you wish.
As I already mentioned, some of the future chapters have been written already, so I'll try and update on a regular schedule, although I can't promise anything! I'll be doing my best though, I swear.
Currently, the update schedule is every Wednesday and Saturday.
