So, that's it, folks.

Thank you so much to everyone who has read this story. I am honestly unable to express my gratitude and I feel like I can't find the words to say what I really want to say to everyone. It's been extremely fun to write, a real pleasure. I sincerely hope you all enjoyed it.

I genuinely had not expected this silly little story to gain as much traction as it had. When I began this bored on 2023's New Year's Eve, I had little to no plan (and that might show), and I know the plot may have been a bit... all over the place at times with things that don't line up or make sense. It turned out much longer than I had ever expected (if I knew I'd be posting twice a week for seven months, would I have even started?) and I am honestly surprised that I was even able to commit to it.

Truly heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone who has supported this. Your views, comments, and votes mean everything to me, and I'm not sure I would've completed this story without them. Any other times I've tried to write something, I ultimately gave up, so the fact that this story was completed is really a wonder.

I will also be cross-posting this on ao3 under the same username (this is already underway)!

A sequel is something which I was made to think about, and it is absolutely a possibility, depending on demand, although I haven't actually decided whether I'm prepared to commit to a whole new story.

If I were to write a sequel, I think it would be a much longer wait in between chapter updates, and they may even be irregular. I have a busy academic year coming up, and I'm not sure I would be able to prioritise it as much, but I could always try! You'd have to give me at least a few months, though, I think. It's been great writing this, but I think I could use the break.

I also think that if I were to do it, the best way I would write a sequel would be less of a proper story, and more of a slice of life sort of thing, with the reader, John, and the kids. Another idea would be practically writing John's memoir in this universe? Not sure if either of those is something people would be interested in? There would be less of a plot.

Whether I'll actually finish/post anything else depends on the level of interest.

This was the first Beatles fic I've ever written (and the first fic I've ever completed!), and it was definitely a journey. An enjoyable one at that.

Again, I give you all my thanks from the bottom of my heart for simply reading this story, and I'm still in disbelief that so many people enjoyed it.
