•3rd Person POV

"Here, boy! C'mere," Levi calls out to his puppy, holding his arms out. The puppy rushes up onto Levi's lap and Levi holds him close, running his fingers through his fur. Levi chuckles and he continues watching his show.

Suddenly, his door slams open, causing him to jump and almost drop the pup out of his arms.

"Hi, Levi! What're you doing?" (Y/N) asks with a bright smile.

Levi sighed in relief and gently let his puppy down onto the floor, "Uhm, hi, hello, knocking is a wonderful concept to consider. Anyway, I'm watching a show."

(Y/N) averts her attention toward the TV, trying to guess what he's currently watching to no avail Levi set his pup down and looked back at (Y/N).

"So, what do you need?" Levi folds his hands together.

(Y/N) replies, "Oh, right! I was wondering if you'd like to do something together."

Levi furrows his eyebrows in confusion, "Like what?"

"Like..." (Y/N) contemplates for a moment whether or not she wants to tell him. Then, she decides not to. "You'll see. Just, dress semi-fancy and meet me at the park at three o'clock. It's nice out, and I want to do something nice."

"Oh, alright," Levi responds with a smile. "You'll already be there?"

(Y/N) nods. "Yeah! Just make sure to dress nice, you don't need to bring anything!"

Before any more questions could be asked, (Y/N) says to Levi that she'll see him there and exits his room, leaving Levi confused. Nevertheless, Levi abides, gets up from his bed, and heads over to his closet to change.

Meanwhile, (Y/N)'s downstairs in the kitchen grabbing some excess snacks and placing them in a picnic basket. (Y/N) sets the basket down on the island counter and quickly rushes upstairs to get changed before going out to get some more food for hers and Levi's small date.

{Time Skip to Three O'Clock}

Levi steps out of his car and closes the door behind him. He skims around the entrance of the park looking for (Y/N), but he doesn't see her. He steps forward into the park and continues down the path.

As he walks, he thinks to himself about how right (Y/N) was about the weather. It was unexceptionally warm up today. He notices the breeze and sees different scenarios surrounding him on either side of the path. Families sitting together eating and reading, kids running around and playing, and there were even some flying kites. Levi hasn't seen that in quite some time.

The sun hides away occasionally behind clouds that pass by its rays and cause temporary darkness. He continues along the tree-lined path until he reaches the field at the end of this path. He glances around in hopes of finding (Y/N), and he does. She's sitting on a spread-out blanket at the top of the hill beside the single, gigantic tree beside them. Levi smiles to himself as he makes his way up the hill.

At the top of the hill, the sight was breathtaking. The scenery, (Y/N) in her fancy outfit, and the beautiful flower petals surrounding the blanket.

Levi smiles as he sits beside (Y/N), "You look beauti-... Nice!"

"You look handsome yourself," (Y/N) compliments, setting up the teacups and teapot.

"Tea party?

(Y/N) nods, "Yeah! Just the two of us."

Levi hands her the small plates and cups once (Y/N) finishes setting up the tea. (Y/N) places down the teapot and small plates then place the teacups on top of the plates. Levi watches silently. (Y/N) looks at her setup and cheers.

"It's cute," They cheer, grabbing the basket and opening it.

"It is," Levi agreed. "If you wanted to go on a date, you could've asked me."

(Y/N) laughs, "Nah, I wanted this to be a surprise thing. And you've done a lot for me before before, I want to do something in return!... Wait, this is a date?"

"Uh... Anyway! Thank you," Levi quickly changes the topic, smiles, and picks up a teacup along with the small plate and (Y/N) does the same.

They clink their cups together and take a sip of the contents in the cup. (Y/N) waits a moment, then compliments her own making of the tea since it was one of the few times she's done it in a while. Before (Y/N)'s tea could even cool down, Levi's cup was already empty.

The duo took the snacks from the basket and spread them out on the blanket. They talked, ate, and admired the scenery around them. At some point, they left the blanket and went down the hill into the flower patch below. (Y/N) knelt and gathered flowers to make a bouquet for Levi, while Levi made a flower crown for (Y/N).

"I still don't know how you do it so quickly," (Y/N) comments, handing the bouquet to Levi.

Levi shrugs and places the crown on (Y/N)'s head, "I made them all the time when I was younger, that may be it."

(Y/N) smiles and felt her cheeks redden, "Maybe so. I take it that you were outside all the time?"

"Absolutely. There was a lake by where I lived when I was younger, and Luca and I would be over there all the time."

Another breeze blew by and (Y/N) held her flower crown to ensure that it wouldn't blow away. Levi held (Y/N)'s hand and walked further through the path. The further they went, the steeper the ground went and the higher the flowers grew. When they stopped again, the flowers were practically up to their knees.

They hadn't realized how long they'd been out until they saw the sun setting. The sun's evening rays peeking through the trees highlighted the flowers and the area beautifully. It was a lovely sight indeed. (Y/N) held Levi's hands and began spinning around in the flowers with him.

She noticed the flowers were coming up from the ground and into the air as they did so, almost as if they were fireflies. (Y/N) couldn't help but smile, and neither could Levi. (Y/N) stopped spinning and held Levi close to her.

(Y/N) adjusts her gloves, "Thank you for coming!"

"Of course," Levi responds. "It's a nice experience, we should do this more often."

"Yes, more fancy tea parties!" (Y/N) looks up at Levi.

Levi smiles down at her. As much as Levi wanted to kiss her on her forehead, he couldn't. In her eyes, they were still friends and that would most likely cause way too much awkwardness for his liking. So, he decides to leave it alone. (Y/N) was a really sweet and understanding person, Levi still doesn't understand how they became so close.

Suddenly, Levi's thoughts were interrupted by (Y/N) grabbing his hand. Without another word, they held each other's hands and began making their way back to their blanket.
