Chapter Four (Saki): Something's off...

"I'll be right back." Saki didn't wait for a response as she ran to the restroom. The door was a little heavy but she ignored it as she stared at the mirror. Her pink sweater was changed into a hoodie, and the shirt underneath was still white, but it had RAD WEEKEND spray painted on it. Her shorts were changed into leggings and her shoes never felt more sporty.
"Where did my old clothes go?" Saki was terrified, and a little peeved. That outfit was her favorite, and now she only had a few of those clothes left. Saki walked sternly around the restroom, the same four walls always there to remind her of this insane reality she's living in. She never really noticed how bizarre SEKAI's were except for the first time she was in one. But now that this SEKAI has changed her entire outfit into a more street related attire, and she ponders this moment, and wonders what was happening. Saki was walking in circles in a bathroom inside a cafe that MEKIO and maybe KAITO works at wearing clothes that she was not wearing before entering these streets. Saki thinks about if she said that to anyone if they would be concerned about her wellbeing, but she knows she needs to question Toya, at least on the outfit. Saki ran out of the restroom and took her seat, glaring at Toya. She wanted, no, needed to have answers. Why? Why were they here? How? How did her outfit change? Who? Who are they waiting for, if anyone will show up at all...The thoughts swam around her head, screaming at her to make a choice, and she took the questions, and threw them at Toya. He was here longer than she was and he was know something, right?
"Do you know why I'm wearing this, because this is not the weather for it. Wait why even are we here? Are we waiting for someone or...?" Saki looked at Toya expectingly, but he just sat there, smiling. She heard a quiet gasp from next to her, and she looked at where that noise was from, to see Kohane, her eyes as wide as the sun. She swallowed her pride and apologized to Kohane for taking so long, but Kohane ran and gave her a hug with strength she never expected from her.
"K-Kohane?!?" Saki reeled in surprise from the strength of the hug, but embraced her.
"H-how are you here?" Kohane asked, sitting back down to her seat.
"W-well, it turns out that there's more than one SEKAI."
"D-does that mean?"
"Yes, I have a SEKAI."
Kohane gasped in surprised as she almost fell out of her chair.
"D-does Tsukasa also have a SEKAI?"
"Yes, but we need to know who else has one." Saki sat in her seat, and drank her smoothie that arrived while she was gone. Saki could taste the chocolate strawberry the moment she sipped it, and felt at ease. "Would you know if anyone group would have a SEKAI, Kohane?"
"H-hang on a second, you just told me that Wonderland x Showtime has a SEKAI and you want me to just gloss over that fact?!? I wanna go to it!" Kohane asserted her position, and both Saki and Toya nodded to each other before speaking.
"Will you tell us about any ideas after we're done at the other SEKAI?" Saki asks.
"Of course!" Kohane replies, and the three take off to find any member of the group of WxS. They give their goodbyes to KAITO and MEIKO as they run out of the Crase cafe and into one of the alleyways. Toya took the lead, he knew where Tsukasa's house was. Saki and Kohane followed closely behind as he and the others went back into the real world.
"Ok, we're stopping at Tsukasa's house ?" Toya stopped and turned and faced the other two.
"Why are we going over there?" Kohane asked.
"Well, he knows where the others members are."
"But couldn't we just go to the Phoenix Wonderland?"
"It would be better if we knew where they were instead of trusting."
Saki barely realized they were in the real world, but she saw that her outfit didn't change. Saki quietly panicked as Toya and Kohane politely argued about if Tsukasa's house detour was necessary, but Toya won them over, eventually. There must've been some rain while they were gone, the sidewalks were slick with water and the air smelt of petrichor. Saki was a little glad her shoes changed while they were at the other SEKAI, otherwise she would've slipped from the water.
"I can take us to my house." Saki said, moving ahead of the other two and turning the corner. She remembered walking home this way after school. A left here, then keep going straight, then a ri- no wait that tree fell over we need to keep moving one more block then a right, and finally a left and we made it!
"We're here." Saki smiles as she grabs a key from her pocket, and unlocks the door. Usually Tsukasa smiles and talks about how excited he is about her return back home and gives her a hug and talks about how Rui did this or that, but today it was different.
Tsukasa nearly fell over by the time he made it to the door, and he looked like he was hit by a car. His hair was tangled and his eyes looked empty. Saki worried if Tsukasa was ok, but she quickly saw the sawdust all over his outfit and knew what he was really doing. He was renovating someone's room, probably Toya's.
"Wow, it's almost like you have your own team with the three of you. If you get Nene you'll have a fighting chance against the evil demon lord!" Tsukasa laughed like he always did before sitting down at the living room couch, clearly tired from working. Toya walked past Saki, grabbing a water bottle from his bag, and sat next to him.
"Here, it's not cold, but it's still good." Tsukasa drank the entire bottle before sighing.
"Thanks Toya. What are you doing here, anyways?"
"We wanted to know where the others were, because Kohane wanted to check out the WxS SEKAI."
"Oh, well they all should be over at the Wonder Stage. I'll go grab my card and we'll go and-"
"No, I need your help on something," Toya spoke before Tsukasa could finish, "you give them the card, we need to go and do something." Tsukasa walked off to his room, and Toya stayed where he was.
"Where are you going?" Saki asked to Toya.
"To find help with something important. Don't worry, I'll show up at the SEKAI immediately after I'm done. After all what Tsukasa and I have to do is close to the Wonderland." Tsukasa handed Saki the card, and a thousand questions felt like they appeared from her brain. Where are they going? Why are they going? Is it just the two of them? Why not just hold onto the card and walk to the place after letting us in? Saki barely noticed the fact that the four of them were moving until they were on the subway, the cold interior snapped her out of the spiral of unanswered questions and confusion.
"Who is at the Wonder Stage Tsukasa?" Kohane asked, quietly sitting across from Saki.
"Hmm, I think Nene is at home, but the other two are there." Tsukasa said while grabbing onto the handrail and checking his phone.
"Phoenix Wonderland, next stop, Phoenix Wonderland." The intercom sounded off, and our stop was here. The four of us walked out with the afternoon crowd, some crying kids in strollers and tired looking adults looked liked they were all around us.
"We'll go this way." Toya pointed to a stairwell a few people were walking to.
"And you two go that way." Tsukasa pointed at the stairway opposite.
After a few stairwells, a few winding hallways, and very long escalator rides, Saki and Kohane made it.
"Ticket please!" The very energetic ticket taker held her hand out, and Saki showed the card to her. She took it, looked at it a few seconds and asked Saki something.
"What is your name, please?" Her smile didn't fade or waver as Saki smiled and said her name for her. The ticket taker let the two past and off they went to the Wonder Stage! Kohane had to get dragged past all the rides and other shows, she always acted like this was her first time here, but when they were close to the stage, Kohane ran past the vine hidden sign, and past the shrubbery to the Wonder Stage. Saki followed afterwards and heard something any fan of Wonderlands x Showtime is bound to hear.
"WONDERHOY!!!" A very excited Emu jumped into view, and had a smile wider than the sky. She spent no time at all talking, but Kohane and Saki wanted something besides conversation.
"Could you take us to the SEKAI?" Kohane asked, taking off her hat and fidgeting with it as she talked.
"Huh?! You know about the SEKAI?!" Emu had a face of shock and surprise, but it quickly turned into pure joy.
"We would like to go to the SEKAI, Emu. Will you take us, please?" Saki held her hand out to Emu, but she already had her phone in her hand.
"WONDERHOY SEKAI!!!" Emu jumped with excitement as she pressed play on the song, and the three of them were warped to the SEKAI, Saki was worried about her outfit, but she was more excited than worried, and wanted to see what a Stage Group could have as a SEKAI.
