Not even a simple "hi, hello, how's school?" your whole being does not concern her.

Would you be glad? Pleased? Hell nah!

And the worst thing is she doesn't give a damn abiut you because you're- of course, adopted.

"Hello oh, ano na ang balita?"
Tanong ko sa kanya.

"Good afternoon  Mr. Muhlach. We found your daughter. Si Atasha po, siya po ang nawawala ninyong anak!"
pagbabalita ng PI na inutusan ko. I was stunned. Can't even utter a single word.

"Sige salamat! bukas nalang ako magpapadala ng bayad mo. Maraming salamat talaga"

"Sige po sir, salamat po."

End call...

Di ako makapaniwalang si ata, Atasha, si Ata nga! Siya ang hinahanap naming anak ni Lea! Our long lost daughter that we've been looking for over a decade is not lost. After all these years, kasama lang pala namin. Crap!

"Babes, I have something to tell you.
I'm--pregnant."

"What do you mean you're pregnant? Didn't I tell you to take pills? Is that really mine tho?"

I am a hundred percent sure that, that child is mine. I'm just trying to piss her off.

A hand landed on my cheek. Fuck!

"What do you think of me? A whore? You know what, if you don't like the baby, you could've just said so. You don't have to accuse me of such you asshole! I can raise this child alone!"

She's really pissed right now and I'm feeling really guilty.

She turned her backa against me and sat.

"Babes, chill. I'm just messing around. Init ng ulo mo!"

I wrapped my arms around her.

"Muhlach, that wasn't a good joke!"
Seryoso nyang sabi.

"Sorry na talaga!"
She faced me then showed me her sweetest smile.

"So does that mean that we're good?"
Paninigurado kong tanong. Mahirap na.

"Yep. Let's go home? I'm a little hungry."
She said then giggled. Freaking adorable.

"Not too soon babes."

"What do you mean? I already forgave you Aga. What else do you want? A kiss?"

She gave me a peck on my lips. Then smiled.
"Now, can we go now?"

I laughed. Took a small box on my pocket, opened it and showed the diamond ring inside.
"Lea, remember when I told you that I'm gonna propose to you on a very unexpected day? Well, that day is obviously today. So, Maria Lea Carmen, You will marry me!"

She laughed with a teary eyed. She took a deep breath and composed herself.

"Definitely Muhlach."
Then I smiled.

After nine months..

I heard my phone ringing. I'm currently at home rushing to the hospital coz I'm really late now.

"Agaaaaa! manganganak na ako late ka parin? mauuna na si baby sayo! mahiya ka naman!"

Crap, crap and crap!

"Papunta na po babes, sandali nalang, it's very traffic. " I had to lie!

"Okay. Be quick!"

Then ended the call.
