chapter 6 (EDITED)

One drink turned into another, at some point Gianni walked upto the hot stranger she winked at and they were talking intimately at the bar and even Ada had found herself a dance parnter for the night.

Ari would not let Vittoria go, and they continued to dance and frequently he would pique in a joke that would make her laugh, but she tried to maintain a friendly distance.

Men needed to be taught how to simply be friends with women, for crying out loud, Vittoria thought.

"I must say if I was your husband I would not let you dance with another man, let alone an ex," Ari whispered in her ear.

Vittoria pushed him away when he was getting too close, "I would never let you out of my sight if I was your husband." He whispered again.

"But you're not." Vittoria said with a smile and tried to maintain a comfortable distance between them.

"But would.." Ari never got to finish what he was going to say, for he was flung away from her, as a fist connected with his face.

Vittoria gasped, as she looked around only to find Nickolas, charging towards Ari again.

Another punch.

Vittoria was sure that Ari's nose was bleeding after the second hit.

"Stay the fuck away from my wife, you bastard!" Nickolas yelled as he punched him again.

Third time's a charm.

"Nickolas!" Vittoria yelled, regaining herself after the momentary shock had washed away.

She pushed his chest away from Ari, "What the fuck is the wrong with you?"

Nickolas focused his eyes on his wife.

Vittoria noticed how they darkened further when he looked at her.

Delve, his bodyguard, stood behind him, helping Ari stand up. Ada was by Vittoria's side and so was Gianni.

"you're coming with me." Nickolas said in a guttural voice, as he took Vittoria's hand and guided her to a waiting black Mercedes at the curb, she saw that Delve took Gianni and Ada to a second Mercedes behind them.

As soon as they sat in the car, Vittoria glared at her unruly husband, "what the fuck was that, Nickolas?"

Nickolas leaned back in his car seat, breathing heavily before opening his eyes to look at Vittoria. "Won't you give your husband a kiss, love?"

"Have you actually lost your mind?" Vittoria whisper yelled, "you show up out of nowhere, hit a man, my friend and expect to give you a fucking kiss?" She was breathing heavy by the time she was done with that little tirade.

Nickolas was as composed as ever, not one hint of what was going on in his head.

He brushed a piece of hair that was on her face and slowly twirled it around, he leaned in closer to her face, and then said, "Next time I catch dancing with that bastard or any other man, I won't hesitate to put a bullet in his fucking head." Nickolas said that as though he was discussing the weather with her, but anyone who knew him, knew that he was livid.

It was in his eyes. The burning anger.

They had arrived at the hotel, Vittoria got out first, she didn't wait for Nickolas, she headed for the elevator, but she could tell he was right on her heels.

The elevator was crowded, Vittoria had to stand right in front of Nickolas with her back pressed to his front. She could feel his hardness, even when she was mad at him, he still commanded her body without doing much.

She looked back at his face, he was completely aroused, he held her hand in his, in a death's grip. She shuddered.

He wanted to fuck her. Hard. She knew that look all too well.

But only time would tell whose will would dominate the other's.

Hello everyone!
Getting a little steamy here :p

I written many chapters in advance, I plan on writing more, the story will get more intense and complex as we go forward.

I really want to touch on the emotional depth of the characters and their subtleties, the very thing that gives them their distinction from others, their identity in other words.
