Jimmy's POV

When me and Lizzie got to the bowling alley Gem was the only one there so far. "Hi Lizzie and Jimmy!" She smiled as we walked over. "Hey Gem!" I greeted. "Heyyyy." Lizzie said. "Will you two help me set up the names on our lanes? The list of groups are on that piece of paper." Gem pointed at a piece of paper with names on it. "Sure I got it." I said, picking up the paper and looking at the groups.

Bowling Lanes

Lane 1: Gem, Cleo, Lizzie, Pearl

Lane 2: Scar, Grian, Etho, Bdubs

Lane 3: Tango, Skizz, BigB, Impulse

Lane 4: Jimmy, Martyn, Scott, Joel

(I know some people are missing, not everyone could come!)

"I thought Joel and Scott hated each other?" I asked Gem as I put the first names in Lane 4. "Yeah, but they need to get over it!" Gem answered. "Anyways, what's your shoe size?"

After a while people started getting there, the last people were Martyn and Joel. "Gem. Why am I on the same lane as Joel?" Scott asked as soon as he got here. "Because." Gem responded and then went back to talking with Lizzie and them. He groaned and came to sit next to me. "Why don't you two get along again?" I ask as he pouts in his seat. "Because, uh, um," he paused and thought. "I don't know, a reason." Scott shrugs.

"We're here." Martyn said as he and Joel walked over, carrying their shoes. "What took you two so long?" Scott asked. "Someone has to take forever to get ready." Martyn glared at Joel as he sat down and put his shoes on. "Not my fault it takes time to look this good." Joel said as he put his hand to his face. "Mhm, something like that." Scott mumbled. "I heard that." Joel said. "Wait, Gem-" Joel started to say. "If you say one thing about the group I will beat your ass." Gem said while smiling creepily. "Why so scary?" I ask.

"That's Gem for you." Scott rolls his eyes as Joel sits down. "Oh! Jimmy here!" Joel handed me a leather jacket. "Woah, this looks so cool!" I smiled as I looked at the jacket. "I know, I added the patches myself." Joel said smugly, I just laughed and put it on. "Okay everyone! Are we ready to start?" Gem asked. Everyone said yes and they started bowling.

"Who's first?" Joel asked, leaning to see the tablet screen. "I am." I answered as I got up and grabbed a ball. I really suck at bowling, I thought to myself. I watched Tango bowl and tried to do something similar but ended up only hitting two pins. "Damn, you suck." Scott laughed. "I do not! I just, uh, haven't bowled in a while?" I said it sounded more like I was asking. I rolled my eyes and grabbed a ball and threw it again, this time my throw was a bit better because I hit four pins.

Martyn's POV

So, apparently Gem hates me, she put me on a team with the two that fight like a couple all the time, and Jimmy, I guess Jimmy isn't too bad. I was kind of spacing out until Scott said "Damn, you suck." And then he laughed. "I do not! I just, uh, haven't bowled in a while?" Jimmy said back, well it sounded like he was asking. I then realized he only knocked down two pins, I laughed to myself. He then hit four more down, then sat down and sulked. "Why are you sulking? Six is pretty good-" I started to say and then heard Scott cheer. "Strike!" He cheered as he sat down.

"H-Howwww?" Jimmy whined. Scott just laughed. I got up and grabbed my ball and threw it. "....." I stopped and slowly turned around. Scott was laughing even more now and Jimmy looked like he was about to cry. "How did you two do that so easily?" Jimmy continued fake pouting. "My turn, I bet I'll get a strike too." Joel said smugly as he got up. "Yeah okay, I bet you'll do worse than Jimmy." Scott said, "Whatever." Joel rolled his eyes. I knew he was going to get like one pin down. He threw the ball and me and Scott burst it laughing. "G-Gutter ball!?" Joel yelled.

As we continued playing Scott was winning, I was close second, and Jimmy and Joel were, uh, below 50. We played like 4 games before we all left, Scott won 3 of the games, I won 1, and Jimmy and Joel both lost 2. Some people also decided to go and eat before heading home.

"I'm never going bowling again." Jimmy complained as we sat down at a table. "Me either." Joel said, laying his head down on the table. "Ew the table is gross, don't do that" I picked his head up as I sat down across from him, next to Jimmy. Joel rolled his eyes in response.
