I was standing in a field full of dasies. There were also some other colorful flowers. It was the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Then someone appeared behind me hugging me from behind.
"Hey, Effie." I heard Luke's voice saying my nickname. I turned around to look at him. He looked slightly older then he looked yesterday.
"Where are we?" I asked since this didn't look like anything from around camp half blood.
"On our deserved vacation." He said with the same smirk from yesterday.
"What-" I was cut off by strong wind blowing and everything turning dark.
"Juliet..." The voice from my dream said slowly. I looked to my right Luke was on the ground in pain. I run to him. "Juliet!" The same voice from before shouted.
The next thing I know I opened my eyes I saw a blurry Luke crouching beside me mouthing something.
"Juliet." Luke said.
"Huh." I said confused. Luke was again his age. How old is he anyway? Luke opened his mouth to say something but I cut him off. "How old are you?"
"24." He answered calmly. My eyes widened and I quickly sat up.
"What?" I yelled at him. What the fuck was wrong with him? No. What the fuck is wrong with me? Just randomly touching his scar. Then he bursted out laughing. He was messing with me. Thank god. Gods? I don't care. "You're an asshole." I said pointing at him.
"I can't believe you believed that. I don't look that old do I?" He said through his laughs.
"No, you look around 17." I said trying to guess his age.
"Good because I am 17." He said proudly.
"When's your birthday?" I asked curiosily.
"December 6th." He answered. I nodded. "When's your birthday?"
"August 6th. But I'm 16." It was alright. We're only 8 months apart. He smiled.
"I'm not good with remembering birthdays. So I apologize in advance." Luke said.
"Why were you waking me up?" I asked as I yawned. Luke's eyes widened and he got up pulling me with him.
"Get dressed quick. We're running late already." Luke said quickly and went to the closet. "Why you just standing there. Get some pants. Unless you're planing on walking around in you pyjama shorts." Luke said I was confused but took grey cargo pants and socks. I forgot to take my bra off before going to sleep. I then turned around to face Luke and an orange tshirt flew into my face. I took my black converse. Luke then stood there looking at me.
"Are you waiting for a strip show or?" I asked looking around. Luke blushed at that.
"Sorry. I'll wait outside of the cabin." He said and walked away. I smiled to myself and then got dressed. I walked towards the door. Luke was standing there talking to Annie and Missy. Missy looked a little bored while Annie had a smile on her face and then she laughed at something Luke said. He just gave her a confused look since he clearly didn't say something funny and Missy slightly rolled her eyes.
"Hey, I'm done!" I said as I walked towards them. Luke looked at me and smiled, Missy waved at me with a huge smile on her face and Annie just glared. "Hi Missy, Annie." I said as I smiled at them.
"It's Annabeth to you." Annie I mean Annabeth said and looked away from me. What's her problem?
"You remembered my name?" Missy asked excitingly.
"Yeah, Luke introduced you two yesterday." I said awkwardly. She dmiled at that even more. It wasn't that hard remembering her name. She was the only ginger I saw at the camp. Then Luke looked at his watch.
"Shit, we really need to get going. Uh Annie be nice and Missy don't light anything on fire." Luke said as he took my hand and we started running. Again. I didn't feel my legs anymore. We were at the house where the infirmary was.
"Why are we here?" I asked confused. I didn't even know where we were going.
"I asked Luke to bring you here Juliet." Chiron said as he came into our view. "Luke you can go to the Arena. Juliet will be joining you soon." Chiron said and Luke nodded and walked away. "Walk with me." He started walking so I followed.
"You still don't believe me Poseidon is my father I don't understand what do you need me for." I said maybe a little too straightforward. He looked at me and sighed.
"It is not important what I believe. The only thing that needs to happen is your father to claim you."He said slowly. "But there is something else I was assigned to do." He clapped his hand and an dagger appeared out of nowhere. Wow. Then he stopped and faced me. He gave me a reasuring smile and handed me the dagger.
"What is this?" I asked. Did Poseidon send me this? Will he claim me?
"It's a gift from one of the gods." Chiron said.
"So you're not saying it's from my father?" I asked. I mean if it was from him he would just say it right? At that he shugged.
"It didn't say who send it. All it said was your name." Chiron said. I looked at it the cover was golden with black metal in the middle and a golden handle. Then I took it off it was the cover off it had an silver blade. It was quite nice. I felt strong holding it. Like it had some energy and then the energy came to me. It was weird. "Now, go. You need to start practicing." Chiron said and left. I put the cover back on and started walking back.
Then I realised I had no idea how to get to the arena. Nice. So I just started walking the way I came from. I was walking for about 10 minutes now I was almost near the cabins. When I came to near the cabins there were kids around cabin 10 and 7. Aphrodite and Apollo if I remember correctly.
"Hey!" I heard a female voice from my right. There was a beautiful girl with brown hair and light blue eyes. Wow. That's the prettiest girl I ever seen. And next to her was a taller guy. But I don't know them and I need yo go to the stupid arena.
"Sorry I gotta gay! Go! I gotta go!" I said embarrassed as I started walking faster.
"Wait up! Are you going to the arena?" The girl asked. "Your new here right?" They caught up with me. The girl was on my right and the guy was on her right side.
"Yeah." I said slowly.
"We can take you there. We're going there as well." The girl said. "I'm Victoria and that's Andrew." She introduced herself and pointed to the guy. He smiled.
"Juliet." I said with a smile. She's pretty in every way for now.
"Well Jules are how are you liking the camp so far?" Victoria asked.
"Um well I just met like 3 people but it's alright. Weird but not bad." I answered honestly.
"Fair enough. Who do you know? Maybe we know them?" Andrew asked.
"Uh I met Annabeth and Missy. But I've talked to Luke the most." I said.
"Okay, I should probably tell you. Annabeth and Missy are little weird. They stalk everyone who comes to the camp for the few first weeks. Cause they really want to go to their quest. But they're really nice. Well at least Missy is. Annabeth's interesting. And Luke well he's the half of the reason we're going to the arena." Victoria explained.
"Half of the reason? Who's the other half?" I asked curious.
"My boyfriend, Logan." Victoria said with a smile. Of course she has a boyfriend. Look at her she's nice and beautiful. She's perfect.
"Oh, cool." I said. "Is he also in the Hermes cabin or?" I asked since he was at the arena at the same time there.
"No, he's an Ares son. Ares and Hermes cabin are now at the arena." Andrew said. I nodded. We were walking in silence for a bit.
"Oh my god, why don't you come too? Luke will know where to go." Victoria said.
"What is this like a party or?" I asked.
"More like an hang out it'll be low-key." Victoria said.
"Oh, cool." I said.
