I opend my eyes. I felt that my back was pressed against a chest. Quite strong chest and an nice arm around my waist. Guess I moved during the night. Oh well this was also really nice. What time is it? Some beds are empty some are not. I turned around and started waking up Luke.
"Luke." Nothing. "Luke." Nothing again "Pretty boy." Nope. He'll be full of himself after this but I've gotta wake him up. I put my left hand on his cheek and slowly started kissing him. His cheek, corner of his lips, lips. He then started kissing back. After a while of kissing I licked his lips to enter he let me in immediately but before I stuck my tongue down his throat he started fighting back. I got on top of him and pushed my tongue down at what he moaned. I quickly put my hand over his mouth. "There are kids here." I said trying not to laugh. As I slowly removed my hand from his mouth
"When you do that I couldn't care less about anything." Luke defended himself.
"Shut up." I said rolling my eyes.
"Make me." He answered. I just rolled my eyes and got out of the bed. "Come on get up." I said as I looked at the clock it was 7. We should start waking kids up. We started and we were done with the most of the cabin. The only ones left were some Luke's friends, Percy, Luke and I. I saw Luke near Percy
"You okay?" Luke asked Percy.
"Super." Percy answered.
"We all have them, you know." Luke explained and clicked his tongue. "Intense, recurring nightmares. That's normal here. And the daydreams, and the ADHD, and dyslexia. Demigods just process reality differently than humans do. For the first time in your life, you're just like everyone else." Luke told Percy. I walked towards them and hugged Luke from behind while mouthing hi to Percy
"So are you two also" Percy started but struggled with words. "Do you not know who your-"
"Am I unclaimed? No, Hermes is my father. That doesn't matter, we're all on the same team here." Luke said reassuring him.
"I'm unclaimed but my father's a dick and refuses to claim me no matter what I do." I explain to Percy as he gave me a sorry smile.
"Why is that okay? Why do they get to bring us here to just ignore some of us?" Percy asked confused while still giving me a sorry look.
"Spend too much time trying to figure out why the gods do whatever it is they do, you'll drive yourself crazy. Sooner you stop worrying about that, the sooner you can enjoy what this place actually does offer." Luke said.
"And what's that?" Percy asked.
"Glory." Luke smiled. We walked out of the cabin. Percy little in front, Luke and I hand in hand behind him and Chris and some others behind us. "Demigods have always fought for glory. They used to call it kleos. It's like this stuff that attaches itself to your name. Makes it bigger, scarier, more important. People listen closer when you talk, they work harder to be your friend and they think twice about messing with you." Luke started explaining. I really like how passionate he is about things. Then I saw Clarisse walking towards us. She pushed Percy's shoulder and normally continued walking.
"Hey!" Percy said offended. Clarisse turned around and pushed Percy on the ground.
"Woah! Hey. Knock it off, Clarisse. It's like his first day, come on." Luke said. She looked up and down at Percy as he got up.
"Wait, so this is the kid who killed the Minotaur. Is that right? Yeah? I'll bet. Look, you want attention around here, dummy? You better be ready for it when it comes." Clarisse said and got in Percy's face. Then Clarisse's friends laughed. She then looked at me and Luke her smile wasn't there anymore. She just walked away with an angry look on her face. She's very pretty but she's mean. But she's quite nice to me.
