I opened my eyes to see Luke's chest. I smiled and look at my watch to see what time it was. 8:53. Little early but okay. I started admiring Luke. He was gorgeous. I slowly kissed his lips so he wakes up. He didn't open his eyes but started kissing back. We kissed one time and then I pulled away. So he opened his eyes and smiled.
"Morning." He said in his husky morning voice. This man I can just not with him.
"Morning." I said back.
"How'd you sleep?' He whispered remembering the kids were sleeping.
"Fine." I replied with a smile.
"I'm glad." He said looking at my eyes. I smiled and kissed his lips slowly. He kissed back as soon as my lips touched his. He climbed on top of me as we started fighting for dominance. Should I let him win? Not yet. I stuck my tongue in his throat. He then wrapped his hand around my throat. There is no words that can explain how good he was at that.
"Hey! No! Stop tight now!" We pulled away hearing Grover shouting at us. He woke up everybody.
"Dude what the fuck?" I said.
"What do you mean?" He shouted again. "You would have done it in a train cabin with us also here if I didn't wake up now!" Luke blushed at Grovers words and climbed off me.
"Luke, don't fuck my sister! Expecially if I'm in the same room!" Percy shouted.
"They fucked?" Annabeth shouted.
"No! But they were close!" Grover shouted back.
"Stop talking about it!" Missy shouted covering her ears.
"Everybody stop shouting!" I shouted at them all. "We wouldn't have fucked with you in the same room." I said.
"So you already fucked?" Percy asked.
"And why the fuck would I tell you that little brother?" I asked politely. Everyone stayed quiet. "Okay, everybody forget that happened and get ready for breakfast." When we got ready we went to breakfast.
"Two days until we reach Los Angeles. Plenty of time before our deadline to reach the Underworld." Grover said. As we sat at the table. Annabeth, Missy and I on one side. Percy, Grover and Luke across from us.
"Can I ask a dumb question?" Percy asked.
"Go ahead." Luke said.
"It's like you need me to make fun of you." Annabeth said. Missy just nodded agreeing with Annabeth.
"Shoot." Grover said.
"I've never been to Los Angeles before. I'm guessing neither of you have been to Los Angeles. So, how will we have any idea where we're going?" Percy asked. Good question. We should probably plan that.
"No idea. But that's like step 37, and we're still on step four. Cross that bridge when we get there." Grover said.
"Follow-up stupid question." Percy continued.
"Dude." Grover said sounding little annoyed.
""And you shall fail to save what matters most in the end." Back in Jersey, I told you the Oracle said this quest would fail. And no one's mentioned it since. Seems like something we oughta be taking a little more seriously." Percy said.
"I agree with Percy we should figure out the prophecy and start planning ehere to go in Los Angeles." I said. Everybody nodded and then Percy looked through the window. I looked as well. Centaurs.
"Hey. Look at that. Are those...Centaurs." No one even knows they're there." Percy said slowly.
"There used to be herds of them everywhere." Grover said. Luke nodded.
"What happened to them?" Percy and I asked at ghe same time.
"Humans. A few thousand years ago, the god of the wild, Pan, disappeared. And ever since, without Pan to protect the natural world, humans have been trying really hard to chip away at it." Grover explained.
"The bravest satyrs volunteer to become Searchers, trying to find Pan. None have ever returned." Annabeth said.
"Your uncle we found in Medusa's, Ferdinand. He was a Searcher?" Percy asked and Grover slowly nodded. We slowly finished our food and out it away. We were sitting again but in different positions. Annabeth, issy and Grover on one side while Percy, Luke and I were on the other.
"The Oracle didn't say the quest would fail. "Fail to save what matters most."" Percy repeated what the Oracle said.
"That could mean a lot of things." Missy said simply.
"That's how prophecies work, that's how fate works. It could mean a lot of things. The harder you work to understand, the harder it gets to understand. Sometimes, you've just gotta let it come to you when it's ready." Annabeth explained.
"But shouldn't we try to at least come with one conclusion that could be it and do as it is?" I asked.
"You have to let it come to you. It-" Luke started explaining but was cut off by an cop. Shit.
"Excuse me. Can I see your tickets, please?" The man asked. Why was a cop asking for our tickets? "You're in Cabin 17B?" He asked. We nodded. "Come with me." He started waking towards our cabin. We got up and followed him. I was fight behind him just in case. We finally came to the cabin and it was destroyed. "You wanna explain?" He asked looking at me.
"We didn't do that." I said defending us.
"Wait. Wait, you think we did this?" "How would we do it?" Percy and Missy asked at the same time.
"Did you?" The cop asked.
I mean...How? And why?" Grover asked.
"Sir, when we left to get breakfast, everything was intact. We don't know how this happened." Annabeth explained.
"We got a witness here, says she heard the window smash, and then heard children's voices." Cop said nodding towards some woman. Bitch.
"Oh, come on." Grover said.
"Can you tell me what time you left the cabin?" Cop asked. Nobody answered. I looked at my watch. It was 10:30 and when I woke up it was 8:53. Luke woke up around two minutes later. Then Grover woke up 15ish minutes later screaming at Luke and I that there are kids around. Which woke up everybody else. And then we got ready so that means we went to eat around 9:42.
"9:42" I said.
"Can anybody anybody agree on that?"
"I can sir, when we were on our way I asked what time it was it was 9:45." Luke lied. Everybody nodded.
"Well that's interesting. The witness said she heard the screams at 9:50." The cop said confused. "But you're still suspicious. So we'll have to keep an eye on you."
"Are we under arrest?" Annabeth asked.
