May 23th. I've been at camp half blood for exactly 3 months. And I've been doing everything trying to get claimed by Poseidon so one day I could give him a piece of my mind. Using my powers constantly, pranking bullies, being best at training. Was I getting in trouble for it? Yes. Did I care? No.
I also started reading my mums journal. I found out a lot of things. When I was 3 Poseidon came back and raped my mum while I was asleep. That's the reason why I didn't care being punished cause I was going to get to Poseidon in someway and make him pay.
I also found out the dagger was a gift from Zeus. Cause my great great grandfather was Zeus' son he was born before the pact of the Big Three. But he married a moral woman. And they didn't have demigod children. I also took another look at the dagger and realized there was a little lightning carved in at the top of the handel.
So yeah my mum has been acting the way she was because of monsters to protect me. And she also had an very hard life her parents kicked her out when she was 17, she was raped by Poseidon, she had to be awful to me to protect me cause she didn't want to have anything to do with men after Poseidon. I forgave her when I last saw her but now I understand her fully. I haven't read the whole journal and I'm scared to.
I've also started hanging out with Victoria, Logan and Andrew they were helping me prank the bullies. We even named our group Evergreen. I was hanging out with them at any given chance. The were amazing. Victoria and Logan were like my older siblings and Andrew was my best friend. They were the only real friends I had at the camp.
Annabeth and Missy stopped stalking me. Missy was a sweet kid I see her as a little sister. And Annabeth I see myself in her more then I see in anyone else. But everytime I tried to talk to her she'd just start rolling her eyes at me. Maybe one day she'll show me that she isn't that much like me and listen.
I've also took the title as the best swordfighter at camp from Luke. Oh, Luke! It's been interesting. Well I developed a huge crush on him but I didn't know how he felt. Cause it already seemed like we were dating. I mean we would walk around holding hands, we hugged almost every day, he would put his arm around me all the time. So I decided my next plan is to go to that beach that we went to the first day I came and ask him out. I feel like someone's calling my name. Nah I'm tripping.
"Juliet!" I heard Luke shout. I looked around trying to see where he was. Oh in the middle of the arena. I don't feel like beating him in the duel again.
"Yeah?" I asked hoping he wasn't going to asked me to help him show a demonstration for the Hermes cabin.
"I need you for a demonstration." He said with a grin. That grin I swear to gods. I will wipe that stupid grin of his face once again after I beat him in the swordfight. I took my dagger form the holder on my belt and walked towards Luke. I stood across of him and got in the position. Luke doing the same. "Now!" He shouted and attacked me. I dogged his every attack and when he would't be ready I'd strike back at him. We were already fighting for 4 minutes.
"You really don't know when to stop, do you?" I said trying to distract him enough that he forgets his pattern.
"I really don't." Luke said as he continued with the pattern. Okay talking didn't work let's get to business. I attacked at the same time he attacked me so he didn't know what to do. But he quickly started attacking again. He really wants that title back. But he's not going to get it. I quickly manipulated air between his feet so he wouldn't see me. It worked and he tripped and fell on his back. I put my foot on his chest.
"And that's how you win, kids. You have 5 minutes to discuss it in groups and then say all the rights and wrong and all that shit. Get to work." I said to the teens and kids that have been watching Luke and I fight. They quickly did what I said as I put my dagger back in the holder on my belt. I looked down at Luke he was breathing heavily. Then he noticed I was looking at him and he started to get up but I pushed him back down. "What do you think you're doing?" I asked.
"Getting up." He said confused.
"You get up when I tell you to get up." I said.
"Can I get up now?" He asked nicely.
"Not just yet I like you under me." I said as I smirked and Luke went red but then smiled as well.
"Good to know." He said. I looked at him shaking my head. I got my foot off his chest and reached my hand for him to take. He took it and I pulled him up. Now's my chance. I cleared my throat and said.
"Hey, I've been meaning to ask you something for quite some time now."
"Really? I've been meaning to ask you something as well. But you go first." Luke said.
"Well, um do you want to go to that beach again. You know the one we went the first day I arrived. Cause I want to tell you what those things I said to you in french meant." I explained.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm down. After dinner again?" He asked.
"Sure." I smiled while Luke's smile was growing every second. "Well if you'll excuse me. I need to do something." I said as I started running towards the cabins. I needed to tell Evergreen members. Victoria should be at the cabins. I think Logan and Andrew should also be near the cabins cause they're supposed to come back from the canoe lake. I came to the cabins and immediately saw Victoria.
"Vic!" I shouted. She turned her head looking around and then saw me. She ran to me.
"Is everything alright?" She asked confused probably not knowing why was I running.
"It's better then alright. I'm going on a date with Luke!"
