"You ready?" Luke asked from outside of the bathroom as I was in the bathroom finishing my makeup. It was an interesting day. I tried archery and canoeing. Archery wasn't that bad but I'd rather not do it again. Canoeing was way better. I put the third layer of mascara.
"Yeah." Luke had an grey tee, black zip up hoodie, black cargo pants and vans. I also learned that he wears rings in free time. I wore my green cargo pants, white shirt, sweater on top and converse. Luke finally looked at me as I looked at my reflection one last time.
"You look beautiful. No, you are beautiful." He said with a smile as he crossed his arms over his chest. I smiled at that.
"You're not bad yourself Joli garçon." I said as I walked towards him.
"Still don't know what it means. But I'm starting to have a good feeling about it." He said and walked towards me. When we both stopped walking we were maybe 2 inches apart.
"Oh yeah? How do you know it doesn't mean Dumb fuck?" I asked smirking. He gave me a disappointed look. He didn't think about that.
"I swear I'm going to find somebody who has a dictionary here and find out." He said trying to sound smart.
"How do you spell Joli garçon?" His smile dropped and I rolled my eyes playfully at that. "You'll find out soon enough. Don't worry darling." I said with a smirk and intertwined our fingers. "Shall we M'lady?" I asked winking not even knowing where I'm supposed to go.
"We shall kind Sir." He smiled back looking between my eyes and our hands.
"Then lead the way M'lady." I said.
"Oh, right." He said and we started walking. After a few steps he opened his mouth again. "What can I call you?"
"Sorry?" I asked confused. What kind of a question was that?
"Like what if I don't feel like saying your name. What can I call you?" He explained.
"I don't know. Jules I guess. Victoria calls me that." I said honestly not knowing what to tell him. I never had nicknames cause I didn't really have friends. Even those few fake friends I had callSome even called me Julietta cause they thought that's my name.
"That's too basic for you. You need a better, more creative nickname." Luke said looking up at the sky trying to think of something. "What's your full name?" He asked as he quickly looked from the sky to me.
"You're asking for my full name while I only know you're Luke Castellan who's 17 years old and is the son of Hermes." I said trying to change the topic so I don't have to tell him my full name.
"Okay then ask what you want to know." Luke said confidently. And then all the questions I wanted to ask disappeared from my mind. I didn't know should I ask something personal or a general question.
"Do you have any hobbies?" I asked since that was the first question that came to my mind.
"Yeah I like training sword fighting, I like going to this meet ups every now and then. But my favourite hobby is being with you." He said looking forward.
"So I'm a hobby to you?" Then he stopped and turned to me
"No that's not what I meant. I meant like I like spending time with you. I love every minute of it." He confessed. Then his eyes widened at what he said. "I'm sorry I just I don't know what's wrong with me. I just have this strange feeling every time when I'm with you and I don't know what is it." He explained. "I'm sorry." He apologised again.
"Don't be. I know what your talking about. I feel it too. I don't even know how to explain it. It just feels like I've known you forever even though I don't really know anything." He nodded.
"Yeah that's the feeling." He said looking happy he wasn't the only one.
"Who knows maybe we're soulmates." I joked. He looked at the ground and smiling shaking his head.
"Let's go we're almost there. We'll talk about this later I promise." He said and we started walking.
"How do this meet ups even look?" I asked curiosily.
"Um Ralph, Dionysius son brings some wine it's always a different kind. Um someone gets cigarettes from the shop. There's a code that you have to say for them to sell them to you." Luke explained.
"Good to know about the cigarette fact." I said.
"Yeah but you can't buy them you're not 18." Luke said.
"Well I can do what I always do when I buy cigarettes. Lie." I said rolling my eyes.
"No, they know how old is everyone here so yeah." Luke explained.
"Well that's stupid."
"Yeah, well we're here." Luke said. I looked around there was nobody there.
"Nobody's here." I said confused. He then titled my head to look up I saw a tree house. "Oh. But how do we get up there?" Luke then hit some kind of target with a stone. "What the fuck?" He just smiled. Then I saw a rope coming down. It had a knot at the end.
"Well go ahead put your foot in the knot and hang tight." Luke said.
"You sure it's safe?" I asked kinda scared.
"It's safe I promise." He said and gave me a smile. I did what he told me I put my foot in the knot and hang tight. I started going up after 15 seconds I was up. I looked around it looked lovely I heard another stone hit the target and the rope went down again. After 15 seconds Luke was up as well. "You ready?" I nodded. Luke opened the door.
"You made it!" Victoria said excitingly.
There was an blue couch with two seats on right, then in the middle a brown armchair at which sat Andrew and on left two bean bags. Logan on the one green and Victoria on the one yellow. And the ceiling was covered in fairy lights. It was beautiful."Yeah we did. Where's Ralph?" Luke asked as he as he sat on the right side of the couch, closer to Andrew. I followed and sat on the couch I was across from Victoria.
"He ditched us for Sophie from the Demeter cabin." Logan said. Luke whined at that.
"Sophie really?" Luke asked disappointed.
"What's wrong with Sophie?" I asked not being familiar with the name.
"She's a bitch." Victoria said. "She's rude to everyone but I'll give it to her she's hot."
"Yeah she came to camp and in the first week she started bullying everyone but nobody believed us since she's a Demeter child." Andrew explained.
"What does that have to do with anything?" I asked.
"It's a stereotype. Since Demeter was in general like a good goddess so you know." Victoria explained.
"That's stupid. It doesn't matter who your parents are you're your own person. That's like saying Luke is a thief cause he's Hermes' son. It's bullshit." I said.
"Well yeah, but you can't really do anything about it." Logan said.
"Or can we?" I said as I had a plan. They all looked at me curious.
"We're listening." Victoria said.
