We had just landed in kano, aisha is getting married in a month time so we are here for preparations, I didn't want to leave qalbi all alone but then mamie needs our help. Adda hauwa and adda halima, my sisters who live in NewYork are flying back here in a week time too

I got my suitcase and strolled outside searching for yazid who came to pick me with sleeping noor in her trolley when I couldn't find him I found a spot and stopped, brought out my phone and dailed his number

"Yazeed where are you?" I asked after he answered

"I just got to the airport, I am currently in the parking lot" he said

"Haba yazeed se yanxu, come down towards departure you will see me in a sky blue abaya" I spoke pissed off, it was sunny and on one hand it was sleeping noor while the other I have a big suitcase. I sighted him in a brown kaftan

"Sorry hayatin qalbi, I had to collect something from a friend" he said with a smile but I twisted his ears

"Haven't I warned you to stop calling me that? Ohh your friend is even better than me, it's not your fault" I said slapping his hand

"Sorrry nafi, your hand is so painful. I just hope you don't beat noor" he said lowering down to look at her in her seat

"Why won't I beat her, she's very stubborn kana ganin ta, me dey let's go now, I am so exhausted and famished

"Su acici an shigo gari" he joked pulling the luggage while I pushed noor, after settling in the car and he turned the AC on I felt so much better, because it felt like I was in an oven outside

"How's the preparation going? I hope you are trying your best to give a lending hand? Not your everyday yawo" I warned

"Habba dai trust me, I am very responsible. You can even ask at home" he defended himself

"Toh that's good, where is my in-law?" I asked

"That one na gold digger since we don commot her, I don't have her time" he said and I laughed

"Ta chi batti kenan, that money that you don't like spending on us,  you go spend am for babe. Dey play you never see anything sef" I said and released a wicked laugh

"Nafi you are bad, now na that your sister in-law I Dey eye" he said eyes on the road

"My sister in-law Kuma?, which one?" I asked clueless

"Your husbands sister, chuchu"

"Aiho uhmmmm, Allah ya bada sa'a" I replied, we kept on talking about a-lot of things before we finally got home, noor was sleeping throughout the ride

"Assalamu alaikum" I said the taslim walking into daddy's parlor with noor on my shoulder, he was seated watching the news

"Walaikumu salam, mamana how are you?" he asked with a smile giving me a side hug

"Alhamdulilah daddy, how is work?" I asked after we sat

"Alhamdulilah mamana, my wife is sleeping ne?" He said motioning to Noor, he calls her his wife

I laughed before replying "yes daddy, she has been sleeping since we got here"

"Ohhh Masha Allah, what of nana? When is she coming?" He asked

"In a week time, they have a lot of work to do in the office so her leave will be granted next week insha Allah" i explained

"Ohhh Masha Allah, and how is the bakery?"
