Scarlett’s POV
“What the fuck is this?” Sam says angrly. [Scarlett’s Secret Lover?] “That’s from the meeting about the new movie opportunity. Sarah was with me that day.” I say. “Scarlett, you are kissing him. While pregnant with my Son.” Sam says with pain in her voice. “I need to go.” Sam says and starts walking out. “Sam no. It’s not what it looks like.” I say chasing after her. “Ma stop just hear Mom out!” Sarah yells as Sam gets in the truck but she doesn’t listen and drives off. “Sarah I never cheated, I didn't kiss him.” I say starting to cry. “I know Mom, I was there for a hug. The picture is just at an angle that makes it look like something else.” Sarah says, wrapping her arms around me. “Would you like a ride home?” Reba offers. “Yes please Sam is probably going to the studio that’s where she goes when her emotions are high.” I say.

Sam’s POV
I drove straight to my brother. I can't face the kids right now. “Benny! Open up!” I yell banning on his door. “Hey I saw the headline.” He says softly. “I need a drink.” I say. “No, you've worked so hard to stay sober.” He says. “Fuck do you at least have some cigarettes they help with the cravings.” I ask. “Yeah I’ve still got the pack of Luckies you left here.” He says. “Thank you.” I say. He goes over to the counter and pulls them out of a drawer and I have my lighter on me. "Let's go downstairs to my studio and you can let out how you feel." He says.

Scarlett’s POV
“Her truck isn’t here.” Sarah says. “Fuck.” I say then my phone buzzes with a text from Tina that she’s on her way to get me and that Sam is at their place. “She’s at your Uncle Benji and Aunt Tina’s place.” I sigh in relief. “She’s on her way to get me.” I say. “Mom, you guys have to fix this.” Sarah says. “We will. Thank you for the ride Reba.” I say. “Of course. I’ll be seeing ya take care now. I know it’ll work out.” She says before pulling out of the driveway. Tina soon arrives and picks me up and we are now on our way to their place. “I’m sure everything will be fine. I know Sam can get stuck in her head at times but she’s with Benji she’s safe.” Tina says. “Thank you.” I tell her. “Of course I’ve got you.” She says as we pull into the driveway. “Benny said they went to the studio. The soundproofing isn’t done completely yet so they should hear us coming.” Tina says. “Shh do you hear that?” I ask when I hear a piano playing. “Yeah I do.” She says and we quietly make our way downstairs.

“Oh my god.” I quietly cry. “She thinks I don’t love her.” I whisper. “Sam.” I say but she has her headphones on and can’t hear me but Benji does and lifts his head up. When Sam sees him do that she takes off her headphones and turns around. “Sam, before you say anything, hear her out.” Benji says with his hand on her shoulder and she just nods. “Sam, I didn't kiss him. I hugged him. He’s a director and he wanted me for a role.” I tell her. “So this isn’t you?” She asks, pointing at the picture. “Sam. Sarah was there. She saw the whole thing. If you don’t believe me, at least believe our daughter.” I plead. “She already texted me. But how the fuck are you supposed to say you didn’t kiss him when there is a picture of it!” Sam yells and gets up and heads for the stairs. “Sam, do I have to request the footage from the building’s cameras for you to believe me? I am your wife of 8 years. We've been together for nearly ten. We’ve been friends since the day we were born. Why don’t you believe me?” I yell. “There is proof Scarlett of you kissing someone else!” She says with tears in her eyes and I probably look the same. “I need a drink. This is way too stressful.” She says and I tackle her as she makes her way to the door. “Don’t!” I shout. “You have worked too hard. Please baby, don't go drinking.” I beg. “Scarlett get off me and go to your lover.” She spits and it’s like daggers in my chest. “Oh my god yeah I’ll put you on speaker.” I heard Tina say. “Hi Sam Mily, are you there?” The director from the picture asks through the phone. “Yes, who is this?” She asks, agitated. “I’m the man from the photo and I am happily married to my husband. I didn’t kiss your wife and she didn’t kiss me. We hugged each other goodbye.” He says. “Thank you.” Sam says. “Of course now I hope you and Scarlett don’t have any problems because of this photo. I wish you well.” He says before hanging up. “Do you believe me now?” I ask and she nods. “I’m sorry for not believing you. I saw the picture and I jumped to conclusions.” She says. “Sam I am going to let you go but I need you to promise me you won’t get up and leave to drink.” I say. “I promise.” She says so I get up and she slowly stands back up. “I’m so sorry. Please forgive me for being an asshole.” She says. “I forgive you. Just listen to me when something like this happens. My love isn’t gone, it never left.” I say and Sam wraps her arms around me and I do the same. “I love you Scarlett.” She says in my ear. “I love you Sam.” I say to her. “Let's go home. The kids might be worried that we didn’t come home with Sarah.” Sam says “That sounds like a good idea.” I say and we walk to her truck and she opens the door for me like she always does and I give her a kiss in thanks.
