Scarlett’s POV
“As much as I would love to stay here, I have to get to the office. I love you. Don’t do stupid shit.” I say the last part to Sam with a knowing look. “I’m not that bad.” She pouts. “You can be.” I say as I kiss her pout away. “Hey Mom.” Jr says when he turns the corner to go down the stairs and I reach the top. “Morning sweetie. Did you sleep well?” I ask. “I did. How about you?” He asks. “Well considering I’m reaching the six month mark in this pregnancy the best I could.” I say with a chuckle. “One more reason I’m happy I’m a dude.” He laughs. “You just have to worry about getting people pregnant.” I say and he nods. “Don’t worry about getting any grandbabies from me anytime soon Mom. I always use protection.” He says. “Good, I'm too young to be a grandmother.” I chuckle. “Well I have to get down there to do some recording. I'll see you when you get home.” He says giving me a quick side hug before heading to the studio.

Sarah’s POV
“You took your precious time.” I say to my brother as he enters the studio. “I was talking with Mom geez.” He says. “Ok you two let’s get started right, what do we want to start with?” Ma asks. “Let’s work on the instrumentals for Let Her Go.” Jr says. “Ok let’s do it.” Ma says and a few hours go by as they work on the  music I even help a little with the guitar bits. As they do their thing I decided to text Mom.

Mom: WHAT!
Me: NVM u sound mad.

Ok so I pissed off Mom. I think I’ll leave her be for now. “Hey, we are ready to do vocals.” Jr calls out. “Ooo great just in time.” I say and Ma raises an eyebrow. “Just in time for what?” She asks. “I may have pissed off Mom.” I say causing them both to shake their heads. “You do know I am the one who has to deal with her when she gets home tonight.” Ma groans. “I didn’t think of that. It was nice knowing you Ma.” I smirk. “Well god dayum, Sis that’s cold.” Jr chuckles. “Ya’ll mean.” Ma pouts. “You know we love you.” I tell her. “Yeah I know. Let’s get this song recorded ok.” She says to which we nod.

I noticed that Ma had started to cry during the bridge of the song so after they were done I went to her first. “Ma are you ok?” I ask. “Just remind me never to let your mother go.” She says, wiping her eyes. “I don’t think you need a reminder for that. You already know that you won’t.” Jr says and Ma nods. “I almost did a long time ago when she was pregnant with Danny.” Ma says to me. “Really?” I ask and she nods. “Yeah we had this huge fight and I said things and she said things and I left. I went to Chris’s house and she went to Liz’s and they talked some sense into us and drove us home I didn’t know she had gone to Liz’s when I got home first so I panicked and fell apart on the couch and when she walked through the front door with Liz behind her I didn’t say anything I just stood up and ran to her and wrapped my arms around her and broke down all over again.” Ma tells us. “Wow I didn’t know you two even knew how to fight.” Jr says and I slap him on the arm. “What’s that for?” He whines. “Do you not remember the whole thing with the picture in January?” I ask. “I didn’t know they fought. I was kinda dealing with my own shit at the time.” He says. “Both of you enough. Don’t fight.” Ma says. “Yes ma’am.” We say in unison.
