Sam's POV

"I know Sam, he's a grown man but I didn't need to know that he was, you know." Scarlett says as she paces back and forth. "He can do whatever he wants, it's his life but I really don't want to hear about that part of his life." She continues and I just nod and hum letting her know I'm listening. "I told him to use protection." I tell her. "Good, good. I'm too young to be a grandmother. And I just had his youngest sibling two months ago." Scarlett says, pointing to the infant in my arms. "He's adorable." I say looking down completely, getting lost in his eyes that are filled with wonder and it comes to me his song that I will write for him. "Babe? Babe?" Scarlett says with her hand on my shoulder. "Huh?" I say. "You just came up with a song didn't you?" She asks. "Yeah I did but I think I've already sung it." I say.

Scarlett's POV

Sam got lost in Lukasz's eyes and I can see her writing his song as she looks at him the way she only looks at our kids with the look of a mother's love. "Babe? Babe?" I say placing my hand on her shoulder. "Huh?" She says. "You just came up with a song didn't you?" I ask. "Yeah I did but I think I've already sung it." She says. "But it's the one you want to be his song?" I ask. "Yeah I do." She says. "Will you sing it?" I ask. "I haven't sung to him directly yet have I?" She asks. "Not that I know of." I say. "Ok. Lukasz this song is for you. This is My Child." She says looking him in the eye and begins to sing to him.

"You lulled him to sleep. I'd say he liked it." I say to her, "I will always protect you." She whispers as she kisses his head before laying him down in the bassinet next to our bed. "That was really beautiful Sam. You have a very soothing voice." I tell her. "You know that lyric 'And I cannot help but feeling blessed'. It hits different now. Because that's how I felt when I saw him for the first time. I felt blessed that he was ok despite being born two months early. You saw how scared I was when I saw you in a hospital bed." She says, wrapping her arms around my waist. "Yeah and I remember your stubborn ass getting out of bed ripping the wires off her chest to comfort me." I tell her. "You were crying." She says. "I know and you are a very caring person." I tell her. "I try my best." She smiles and leans down to press a kiss against my lips. She squeezes my ass causing me to let out a small moan. "Mmm Sam Lukasz is in the room." I say. "Right, sorry." She says. "Bathroom is soundproof too, you know." I say with a smirk. "Up." She says tapping my thighs and carries me to the bathroom and kicks the door closed behind her.
