Lindy's POV
"Logan, I have a question for you." I said as I dashed down our basement stairs.
"Ugh, what is it?" Logan rolled his eyes.
"I need to, um, play a little game with you. Um, I read online that if you do a truth circle with your twin it is supposed to strengthen your relationship. So, according to my phone the first question is; who is your crush?" I lied slightly about all that. But I really needed to know.
"Why are you asking me this? I don't want to play a game unless it involves you getting me food."
"I care about our, um, relationship." I stuttered.
"You haven't cared about it for the past 16 years! Why do you care now?!"
"I just do! Now answer the question! Who do you like?" I yelled, getting angry. Could Logan actually take anything seriously for once?
"Why do you need to know that?" Logan began getting very secretive and defensive.
"Just tell me!" I shouted. Logan could sense that I was becoming upset, "Please," I said in a much calmer tone, "I won't tell anyone. You know as your twin I wouldn't do that."
"Fine. I still like Jasmine." Logan admitted and looked down at the couch.
"Still? What do you mean by still?"
"Well, I've liked her since when I told you after the school dance. But that's not the only time I've liked her."
"What? When did you like her another time? Who else knows this?" I was shocked to hear this.
"You know when we were fake dating? Well, I wasn't quite sure what I thought. I guess I wouldn't consider it a crush. But I felt like it was real, and I wanted to treat her as special as I could. I thought about asking her out, but there were other people like Jenna and Erin that I hung out with and I just decided that it was time to focus on them. I mean, so many guys liked Jaz at that time, and I didn't want to make anyone mad. It wasn't really a crush, but something about being with her...it just felt right." Logan kind of blushed and looked down at the couch again.
"Have you told her how you feel recently?" I was shocked. Logan wasn't the kind of guy to spill feelings either. They had to be really strong for him to do that.
"No. She's dating Owen! I thought she liked me. I'm so confused." Logan looked actually upset.
"Hold on. One second." I said as I grabbed my phone out of my pocket. I searched for Jasmine's Instagram profile to see if she had broken up with Owen yet. There were no pictures with Owen anymore and bio now said single. I held up my phone for Logan to see her bio.
"Does this say she's single?" I asked.
"What? What happened with Owen?" Logan's face lit up.
"I don't know." I lied.
"Well, she's not going to be single for long. I need to make a move."
"You do. You should ask her out." I suggested.
"That's not what I meant. I want you to try and figure out if she likes me back."
"Logan, come on! You can just ask her out."
"I don't know if she likes me anymore since she has been dating Owen."
I just then remembered. Logan doesn't know the reason Jasmine broke up with Owen. So I agreed to "figure it out" even though I knew the answer. And that's when all of the drama began.
