Jasmine's POV
My heart was beating so hard that I wouldn't be surprised if Lindy and Logan could hear it. My stomach was fluttering with butterflies. Anytime now Lindy was supposed to leave "to go hang out with Delia" and then I would be left with Logan. Alone.
"Hey Logan, Jaz, I gotta get going. I hate to leave in the middle of our game we already payed for, but Delia said she is staying at her nana's, and she's bored. She wants me to come with her. But don't leave because I'm leaving. You guys can stay since we already did pay for that game." Lindy waved good bye without waiting for a response.
"I guess it's just us now." I shrugged my shoulders.
"Yeah. But it's still cool. I was going to beat you and Lindy before, but now I just have you to beat!" Logan laughed. I hope he didn't notice me staring into his beautiful eyes. I grabbed a bowling ball and stepped up to the lane. I rolled and waited for the ball to hit the pins. It knocked all 10 down perfectly. I guess that when I'm trying to impress Logan, I can be a pretty good bowler.
"Strike!" I exclaimed as I dashed back to the seats.
"Wow. Why do you have to be so good at everything Jaz?" Logan said jokingly. Was he flirting there?
"If I'm good, then you must be amazing." I giggled.
"Jaz, before I bowl, I need to talk to you." He became much more serious suddenly.
"Sure, what's up?" I asked, nervous to know what he was going to say.
"Listen, any guy would be unbelievably lucky to have you, and that's why you've dated so many guys. I lost my opportunity last time, and I can't let you go again..." He began. I smiled huge as he continued. Was this finally it? "I want to know if you want to be my girlfriend." It took everything in me not to start crying tears of happiness. I felt like I should pinch myself, but that would look stupid, so I just prayed that this was real. "Logan, I would love to." I grinned and looked up into his eyes. We hugged really long and it felt amazing. Breaking up with Owen was worth it after all. We finished out the game (he won of course) and he even gave me a kiss on the cheek before we left. I got a text from Lindy to go to Rumble Juice because she was there with Garrett and Delia, so Logan drove us there. It was just normal friendly talking until he stopped the conversation.
"Jaz, I'm so happy to be in a relationship with you. I've liked you since the fall dance, and I tried to ask you out the morning after, but I guess I just wasn't fast enough because you were dating Owen. The second Lindy told me you broke up with Owen, I knew I needed to ask you out soon. I was nervous though. I wasn't sure if you still liked me." Logan was being so sweet!
"Logan! You're being crazy if you thought I stopped liking you. Ever since we fake dated, I've been crushing on you. No matter how old I am someday, even if I'm an elderly grandma, there will still be a part of me that loves you." As I said that, Logan blushed.
"I'd kiss you right now if I wasn't driving." He stated. After Logan parked, we grabbed hands and walked into Rumble Juice.
"So, what's going on here?" Delia asked, looking at us holding hands.
"Logan and I are dating." I smiled as we sat down on the couch and he put his arm around me.
"Wow! I am so happy for you guys!" Lindy gushed.
"Me too." Garrett and Delia added.
Logan and I grinned.
"So who's up for a smoothie and then hanging out at my place?" Lindy asked.
"Sounds cool." Garrett said, and we all agreed.
Logan ordered our smoothie and we shared one with two straws. Whatever we were going to do at Lindy and Logan's house tonight, I knew it was going to be fun, now that I had the guy of my dreams.
