I Can't Let You Go

Chapter 22

Garrett's POV

I was so torn. I had no idea if I wanted to be with Delia or Lindy. I kind of wanted Lindy back, but in a way I still felt betrayed by what she did to me with Liam. I decided to call Jasmine.

"Hey Jaz, can I talk to you?" I asked.

"Yeah, sure! What's up?" She replied.

"So listen, I'm not sure what to do. I don't know if I like Delia or Lindy, and I kind of want Lindy back, but I'm not sure, and I don't know-"  I began before she cut me off.

"Garrett, we talked about this last night when you were at Logan and Lindy's house. You will know what is right, and just follow that. Just think long and hard about it, and when you make a decision, let me know. Okay? I can't tell you what is right, because we may have different opinions. It is all up to you." Jasmine explained.

"Thanks Jaz.  I'll let you know." I grinned. She really did give good advice.

"Yep, and if you want to, we are all meeting at Rumble Juice this afternoon. I haven't texted you yet, but we all are." 

"Sounds cool. See you then!" I exclaimed and then hung up.

I parked my car and began walking into Rumble Juice. 

"Hey Garrett!" Logan waved as I walked in. 

"Great timing! We were just about to order. What do you want?" Jasmine asked.

"Um, I'll take a blueberry banana smoothie, thanks." I smiled and took a seat in one of the accent chairs in our usual area. Jasmine went to go order all of our smoothies. Lindy was on her laptop working on some project, as usual.

"What class is the project you are working on for?" I looked at Lindy.

"I'm working on my project for geography class. We are supposed to do a PowerPoint presentation on any country. I'm doing mine on Germany, and it is going to be amazing!" She exclaimed. Typical Lindy. She gets excited about anything and everything.

"Mine is on China. It's great!" Logan grinned.

"Really Logan? You haven't even finished it and it's due tomorrow!" Lindy rolled her eyes.

"Are you kidding? I haven't started. I really need someone to do it for me or I'll fail." Logan laughed.

"Lindy, don't you dare help him or else I will come back into your house with a water gun again!" Delia threatened.

"Oh, just like you did to me when Jasmine helped me with my math squad?" I asked.

"No matter how much you think it does, math squad doesn't make your nerd herd sound cool." Delia joked.

"Whatever you say. We beat a tough team last week!" I exclaimed.

"You talk about doing geometry and algebra like it's a sports team." Delia giggled.

"Okay, I got the smoothies!" Jasmine passed out the drinks to everyone. We all began drinking our smoothies and talking just about school and typical stuff, but I could only think about one thing: Delia or Lindy?
