Taehyung just stood there, awkwardly as he watched the alpha take his boots off after entering the house. Him just standing there like that somehow didn't seem to bother the alpha.
" So... when will you be going to the main land? I need to visit the palace soon. " He finally asked after over coming his hesitation. Jungkook just took a look of him before silently passing him to enter the hallway, so obvious about how he was ignoring him.
He sighed and began to follow the alpha. " I asked you something- " " I don't have an answer. Also, I just returned home and you were expected to have minimum common sense. Enough to not ask me questions as soon as I return. " The older said in a frustrated manner while hanging his coat on the hanger.
Only if Taehyung cared enough... the only that was running through his mind was the fact that he had to go home. He wasn't homesick, he was just somehow.... scared. " This isn't going to work like this. " Taehyung thought to himself.
" Tha- That's because it's an emergency. I... I need to attend my sword lessons from tomorrow. So... I need to go the main land tomorrow. Father wouldn't like it if he found out that I missed my sword lesson. " He excused, hoping this would be enough to make Jungkook send him or take him back to his palace for once at least.
He knew nothing around here and no way out of here. He could definitely ask people along his way to the main land but he feared that would start some weird rumour in the kingdom, making their marriage more controversial than it already was.
He already knew how much the alpha cared for his reputation so he didn't want to harm that at least for now since the alpha could just kill him here and dispose of his body somewhere in the bushes. Too far fetched? Not according to him at least.
The alpha paused for awhile as if he was trying to come up with an answer. " I will see what I can do about it later. " the alpha answered calmly before continuing his way inside the house. Everything seemed fine till Taehyung chose to open his mouth again.
" Well I want you to do whatever you are thinking about doing right now because as I said, I have to attend the lesson tomorrow. " The omega said in a much more stern tone as he was getting more and more desperate to just... go home.
" Don't. " The younger's brows met to create a frown once again in confusion as he heard the alpha mutter out that single word. " Huh? " He let out in frustration. " Don't go to the lessons from now. I will take care of the king. " The alpha casually let out as if he didn't notice how the omega was visibly freaking out.
Yeah, at this point even a fool could tell Taehyung definitely had other intentions, going to the main land only to attend his sword lesson definitely wasn't the thing that got him this restless.
" But I want to learn t- " " You aren't allowed to. " the older said before walking through the hallway, giving the younger barely any time to talk back again. This backfired too bad.
Taehyung stood there, feeling more hopeless than he already was feeling.

Surprisingly the alpha actually cooked the dinner for both of them by himself without Taehyung even asking for it. Maybe if the alpha wasn't making his life so miserable he would have also thought the alpha wasn't that bad.
He didn't want to eat now. He had no appetite left in him, knowing he would have to stay here for unspecified number of days and tolerate him. Not to mention the way Jungkook forced him to clean up after cooking by calling him names.
He watched as the elder served himself a bowl of miso soup,with rice and kimchi ignoring the whole plate of mushroom katsu that he cooked. He just sat there, looking at the alpha who was about to dig in. " Serve yourself. " The alpha let out, seeing the way he was eyeing the food but eating non.
He swore on himself, he heard somewhere that the alpha was on some kind of strict diet. If the alpha actually was then why the hell did he even bother to make the oil drenched mushroom katsu.
" How do you sleep at night knowing the fact that you forced me to marry someone like you. If I had options I wouldn't choose you as my alpha. You are married an omega who is half of your age only because you want to be the king or you just wanted some royalty. Now you are basically locking me in your house, forcing me to do things I don't want to. " He let out under his breath.
Maybe after this he would never get to go back to the palace... but whatever at this point. " You made that assumption because......? " The warlord asked casually while drinking some of the miso soup as if everything the omega said was completely unheard.
" Because low class civilians like you are always extremely power hungry. I don't see any other reason for you to force me into marrying you. Now you aren't letting me meet my parents because you are scared that I will tell them what you did to me. " he gritted out through his teeth.
" Valid assumption but not the reality. " The alpha mumbled as if he was here to criticize and judge his rant. He let out an extremely deep sigh, just feeling so done. " Then why don't you just tell me what is indeed the reality Mr. Critic. " he scoffed out while rolling his eyes.
" Don't. Don't do that omega. " The warlord let out in a warning tone. " Or what?! You will kill me? What else is even left for you to do to me except that. " He scoffed again this time looking directly at Jungkook's eyes.
" Death is not the worst thing ever. There are many more things that can make you wish for death. " Jungkook let out ever so casually, catching Taehyung completely off guard. " What do you mean by that? " He asked in a stern tone, trying to come off as somewhat intimidating.
He just heard the alpha tsk before putting the dishes away. " Are you trying to scare me into silence? " He added, this time making the alpha sigh out loud. " Honestly omega, I don't care to start an argument with people like you. " The alpha finally answered.
" Poeple like me?! What do you mean by that? If you can't respect me then just leave this kingdom. " He let out as he was fuming in this point. " I doubt your father will like that. " The warlord replied.
Before he could reply the alpha spoke again. " Only for the respect that I have for your father is the reason why you are still alive. If someone else did what you are doing to me, I would have done what I wanted to do to you years ago. " The older said in the most calmest way as if he didn't just threaten to kill him.
" THAT'S WHY I WISH I NEVER MET YOU THAT DAY. " Taehyung screamed out loud in annoyance before finally stomping out of there. He has had enough of this. Enough.
" I never wanted to marry you either. "

" Why is this creep sleeping here tonight? Did he also sleep here last night when I was asleep? " Taehyung thought to himself while looking at the sleeping figure laying across the bed with him.
" Should I get up? But where else will I sleep" with these thoughts alongside, in this point he debating if he even wanted to sleep right now. After nth argument with himself he decided to slowly get up, carefully enough to not wake the alpha up.
Grabbing his pillow, he tiptoed to the bathroom. Plopping his pillow on one of the edge of the bathtub he managed to lay down in it. Obviously it wasn't the most comfortable thing ever but be preferred this over sleeping in uncomfort and unexplainable fear.
Sharing bed may not seem to be a big deal but it was for him. He didn't trust the alpha enough to be vulnerable enough to sleep. The older have always had a stern and respected vibe with him but never strong enough vibe to scare him like this.
After laying down there for awhile, he began to drift into the dreamland. In such deep sleep that he never realized when the bathroom door was opened and closed again.
