The Storm

As Taehyung expected his heat did start the next day and thankfully he was in his palace, which was his usual place where he always stayed so he had basically nothing to worry about. He just stayed in his room for the next 3-4 days till evening when he finally woke feeling a bit better, out of the entire trance.

He looked around the bed to take in his surroundings for the first time in the last few days. He did feel  like a mess, he was a mess but at least it was over. His head was still throbbing in headache as an after effect of the heat. He could still smell himself reeking heat pheromones and smell. He was sure, him alone pretty much stunk up the entire room.

He knew that Yoonji wouldn't be here to help him clean up right now because.... she shouldn't be here right now. Well... The one who should help him was rotting away somewhere in the dominion palace probably. Some parts of him were kind of thankful about it, though some parts were obviously not. He liked to ignore those parts anyways.

He managed to somehow drag himself out of the bed while groaning at almost every moment as his body still hurt quite a bit. He just left the mess of a bed there and went to clean himself up instead. He felt sweaty... sticky in all the wrong ways ever. His bed could be dealt with later but he needed a shower immediately.

He came out of the washroom, wearing a dark purple and golden robe. While drying his hair, he opened the closed windows so some fresh air could replace the heavy pheromone filled-air in his room. " Was it this gloomy for the whole day? " He asked to himself when he discovered the sky being heavily crowded by heavy clouds.

Once he felt like he was clean enough and ready to go outside, that's what he just did. Figuring out maybe a walk to the garden in front of his palace would be nice and refreshing for him. It could maybe even get rid of his headache too.

While he was walking on stoned path to the garden, he stopped on his track once he spotted Jaehyun. He saw the alpha was tying his boot laces peacefully with no rush so he figured he was probably on a break. He smiled to himself while he made his way to the younger alpha.

" Hiiiiii " Jaehyun snapped his head to Taehyung's direction as his voice kind of did scare him. There were so many intimidating alphas here that got Jaehyun on his toes all the time. They call out for him to help him train but that never made him fear them any less. " Oh it's you hyung. " He let out with a sigh of relief.

" How is your training going? " He asked while he watched the younger alpha's hair drip sweat down his face. " Pretty good to be honest. I like it a lot here now. " The alpha said while flashing a smile. " Are you planning to turning into the muscled ra- muscle... Muscle like Jungkook. " The omega asked while fake laughing to conceal his insults towards Jungkook.

After all that was Jaehyun's training master, whom he greatly feared and respected. Something he did fail to do when he was learning how to work with a sword from the warlord. So he pretty much didn't want to ruin something he didn't have in Jaehyun.

" Hyung works too hard, especially to build his body. I could never pull all of that through. " The alpha answered while giggling. " Hyung... " Taehyung was indeed confused at first but he figured it out that Jungkook probably asked Jaehyun to call him hyung. Which was kind of concerning since this kind of friendly behaviour was extremely unexpected from the older.

" Why do you space out so much hyung?! " That did bring Taehyung back into reality. Jaehyun sighed in relief. " Finally. " " I was just thinking about how you and Jungkook are getting along... slowly. It's just nice to hear that. You don't have to fear him anymore.  " Taehyung tried his best to excuse to avoid any suspicion.
