Taehyung could only stare at his new trainer's face in pure confusion. For the last three days he had been seeing this trainer. Every time he saw this guy he had this same expression because every time he expected the warlord. At first he thought maybe Jungkook was just busy with work and that's why this guy was replacing him temporarily but now he was getting irritated about this entire thing. He awkwardly stood there as he watched his new trainer bow to him just like yesterday and the day before. He knew he shouldn't concerned about any of the warlord's business but now it's getting hard for him to just guess things out and wonder. " Where is warlord Jeon? " He asked out in the coldest tone he could master. The trainer, visibly taken a back fixed his posture. " Jeon is taking care of the warriors who couldn't be qualified as first class last summer. " The trainer said. Taehyung couldn't even remember what the hell was his name. He was supposed to be a rank under the warlord or something, Taehyung couldn't remember that either. Never had much interest in politics after all.
He just nodded hesitantly before finally picking up his sword to start today's uninteresting lesson. He hadn't even taken one single glimpse of the warlord ever since their last lesson. He wasn't sure if the alpha even came to his room in these three days, he was also feeling too awkward to ask anyone about it. He couldn't even fathom why the hell he cared so much. He would gladly blame it on the unwanted alpha's mark. That tiny mark had been giving him too many unexplainable anxiety attacks nowadays when the alpha's scent wasn't lingering around him. He sighed out, internally telling himself this shouldn't bother him this much and he should focus on his lesson. That's what he did or at least tried to do so.

In the evening...
" You seem to be so busy in your mind too much nowadays. " Taehyung immediately turned to look at the source of the voice, already knowing it's his mother. She had two of her personal guards following after her. He huffed out in some kind of annoyance, he was easy to annoy nowadays for some reason. He was in his own palace's garden now, he came here with a wish to be alone and even pray to the Moon Goddess for some peace of mind. His mother seemed to have other plans. He just forced out a smile while shaking his head. " Your choice of flowers truly made this garden look so pretty with it's blooms. " His mother said as she stood beside him. For some reason he knew his mother was here for something she wants. He watched her order both of her guards to stand on the other side of the garden, far away from them, which they obeyed immediately.
" So... I was here to tell you something... " Taehyung just nodded in silence to let his mother continue. " Tae... Do you remember aunt Lin? " She added. " .....The old friend of yours who is also the queen of our neighbouring kingdom? The one who used to visit us? " The younger omega asked out hesitantly with a hint of confusion. " Mhm. I didn't except you to actually remember her since the last time you saw her was when you were a pup. Their kingdom is the only neighbouring kingdom that still have good alliances with us. She will be paying us a visit tomorrow. She will be staying here, with us for awhile as well. " His mother said in a gentle tone with a smile. " I want you to be there and welcome her with us. Make sure to make a good impression. Remember, this is important for our kingdom as you are the prince and the royal omega. An omega's elegance preserves the image of one's royalty. Please keep that in mind. " She continued as the younger omega hummed to let his mother know that he understood everything even though he barely did.
Soon silence took place in between them before the queen finally spoke again, after a preferable break from her side.
" Also.... I almost forgot... Make sure to bring Jeon with you. He needs to be there. He is your mate after all. I know that he doesn't like to join any royal family event. But I also believe you will be able to prove otherwise. " She added making Taehyung almost roll his eyes at the ' mate ' part but he got a hold of himself and just nodded with another forced smile. After all, he couldn't let the queen know how worse his already publicly deteriorating excuse of a marriage had gotten. Everything seemed to be working against him... So now he had to convince to the man he hadn't been seeing at all to attend one of their royal shenanigans? He already knew the alpha didn't like to be present in things like this.
Could this get any worse for him?, he was left to only wonder. He wanted to bury himself in this garden, right now.
He silently watched his mother leave after successfully ruining his remaining peace. He sighed out as he was finally left alone. Except now he was spiraling in his head with mental peace and prayer being the least of his worries. Now he had to figure out a way to talk to the alpha.
Where the hell was Jungkook again?

Taehyung awkwardly stared at Yoonji, who was massaging his still-dark bruise with essential oil to get rid of the blood clot. Their eyes had met so many times but the younger omega couldn't bring himself to talk. " .....You want to say something Tae? " She finally asked out in a hesitant tone. Sighing out he decided he had to talk now, finally. " .......Have you seen Jungkook? " The omega asked out, feeling too embarrassed about the fact that he had to ask around about his husband. " Yes obviously. " She answered. " Haven't you? " She added in a more casual tone than the omega expected. " No... I haven't seen him... Ever since... This happened.... " Taehyung mumbled out while pointing to his bruise. " Oh... Everything becomes clear to me now... He only comes to your room maybe when you sleep. I saw him doing that once but I didn't know you haven't seen him at all and he is doing this to avoid interactions with you. He is doing alright as far as I know. " The older omega replied, once again more casually than he expected.
" I... I don't really need to know he is, I don't even care.... It's just.... I just thought... he was busy working or something. I never thought of getting avoided by him. " Taehyung almost absent mindedly mumbled out. " Guilt. Guilt is what he feels. " " Huh? Guilt? For what?! " The younger omega asked out soon after hearing Yoonji. " He is probably feeling some kind of guilt for acting so harsh towards you. " She calmly mumbled out. He could only entertain the thought for a few seconds only before completely dismissing it in his mind. That can't be it... Why would someone like Jeon Jungkook even feel guilty about things like this? It surely wasn't the first time of the alpha acting out like this. He was confused to say the least. " Did my father get to know about this? Maybe he is scared to face puni- " " He doesn't seem to be one of those. " She mumbled out, this time while taking a seat in front of Taehyung, who frowned his brows at the confidence she had in her words.
" ....But how noona..... He doesn't seem to be one of those ones who could even feel guilt for these type of actions either. " The younger omega spoke his mind in a bored manner. " Well... Guess what Tae? He isn't my husband after all. So I may be wrong. I don't despise him either, like you do. So I may be right. " She tsked out while giggling a bit as if it was funny. Maybe it was to some, unfortunately it clearly was not for Taehyung.
" I don't care about whatever heck reason he has been ignoring me for. He can also continue this. I just need to inform him whatever he needs to do- " " There isn't much you can do when you are the one being avoided. Knowing both of you, you will never talk it through even if you get the chance to. So what's the point of you directly talking to him? Probably he already knows that a queen from another kingdom will be visiting tomorrow. Just send someone to inform him that he needs to be with you to welcome her. " Yoonji offered an effective solution once again, making Taehyung finally realize he didn't need to overthink this at all. He had the very solution of most of his worries right in front of him.
" Then do it noona. You do it. I know you are the only one who will be able to deal with him. If he says no, you can still convince him. " He said as his face lit up in pure excitement. Yoonji went silent as if she was really giving it a thought. " Okay... I can do that. " She mumbled out making the latter sigh in relief. " You should get some sleep then. You have to wake up early tomorrow. So don't worry about any of that now. I got this. " She added, making Taehyung nod immediately. He did actually know she got this. He knew he could put that much trust on her.
He wished to see the alpha tomorrow beside him at least... With that he went to bed.
