𝟭𝟬 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀

they had just got home from chipotle. which was so awkward. jacob and dominic were talking while stella sat there basically flabbergasted at what happened back at her house.

jacob was getting his stuff ready to go and dominic done left from the restaurant. stella stared at the tall man before her as he gathered everything into his tote bag.

she watched as he threw it onto his shoulder and walked up to her. "i had fun today." he spoke and just walked out her front door. no goodbye or nothing. not even a hug.

she chewed on her lip as she watched the door and heard him leave. she stood there for a second before walking over to her bedroom and just crawling into her bed.

she unlocked her phone and scrolled through her feed for a bit. her heart dropped to her ass when she saw a post about them hanging out with dominic.

"nah.." she spoke to no one as she read through the article. it was all lies. saying they were back together. saying dominic was basically a third wheel.

which was totally not the truth. stella felt more like the third wheel when she was with them. she scoffed and sat up in her bed. she searched up their names into google and found more articles about the situation.

as she learned in the past, she deleted the tabs she complied and ignored everything. "out of sight out of mind." she whispered and set her alarms for the morning. she placed her phone on charge and fell asleep.

the next morning, she woke up to her alarm blaring in her ear next to her. she turned it off immediately and groaned. she stretched,making a weird noise uncontrollably, then kicked her legs over her bed.

she got up and slipped on her slippers and trudged over to her bathroom, doing her business, then came back out and got ready for the day. she changed into a baby blue tank top and straight jeans.

normally, she would wear something that more fits her vibe but she's going to work so she has to dress more professional. it has been hard the past times she's been because she loves expressing herself but she got told off on euphoria too many times. crazy,right?

she did her makeup like she does everyday and put her hair into a messy bun. she cringes at herself in her body length mirror because she looks so...basic. plus the jeans don't make her ass look as good.

she shrugs it off and slips on a cropped cardigan even though it's too hot outside. after putting on her now beat up vejas, she spritzed her favorite perfume and was headed on her way to the building she was too familiar with.

she jumped out of her car and gathered her things, walking into the building. she talked to the person at the front and went to the same room she's already been to.

she noticed everyone was busy in conversation as they waited for the day to start. she sat in her normal place next to jacob and got her stuff laid out.

she looked over at him and saw he was staring at her. she smiled at him and he immediately turned his head, changing his gaze to the sheet infront of him.

stella never noticed how much he sounded like elvis when he spoke. he had that rich southern swang in his voice as he read his lines. almost like he wasn't from australia. it honestly turned her on.

when they finished the session, she packed her things up and decided to stay back and get to know her co stars. they explained how they were going out for lunch and invited stella to join.

so, they all went to their cars and stella punched in the address on her carplay for some local lunch place. she drove there and saw jacob's familiar car behind her. she felt herself get excited as she continued driving.

she parked at the place and got out, jacob parking right next to her. they greeted each other for a moment before hearing a cameras shutter. their heads snapped towards where the sound came from and saw a man with huge camera towards them.

jacob rolled his eyes and grabbed her hand, pulling her to inside the building. they spotted everyone and sat with them. stella and jacob didn't notice they were still holding hands until dagmara was looking at them confusingly.

they immediately dropped their hands and cleared their throats, grabbing the menu that was placed in front of them. it was all just muscle memory. to be frank, these past weeks she forgot all the cheating and bad things he's done.

lunch was great, stella thought. she really did learn more about her co starts and build a relationship with them. she loved her new family. it was kinda hard though being one of the youngest people, everyone was much older than her and jacob.

that night, she was scrolling through instagram and saw some page post about them hanging out. she decided to ignore because it's not even juicy but something caught her eye.

the article stated that jacob was seen the other day with this girl, "that certainly wasn't stella." there was pictures of them included. it seemed like a million of them kissing.

stella couldn't believe it. she was hurt. he was leading her on. and for what? she thought their friendship was finally healed from the past.

she shook her head and groaned out loud. "fuck." she turned her phone off and placed it on her nightstand. she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
