it's been a month now. they start filming in a day and stella couldn't be any more nervous. she has been pretty successful of ignoring jacob besides if it's work related.

he has obviously acknowledged it. he would notice how everytime they had to practice together she would only speak about work and not even try to tease him not once.

sofia asked them to maybe spend some time together to kindle some chemistry between them for the screen but stella quickly shut that down with, "no it's okay, we used to date."

jacob was a little taken aback from that. they have talked about going horse back riding, something elvis and priscilla loved to do, and stella did seem really excited about that. he wondered what got into her.

ride or dies

we have to arrive at like 10
so i'm gonna wake up at 7
because i have to do my own hair and makeup

after a lot of a persuading, stella found herself sat at her vanity and putting in her favorite gold hoops. her wavy dark brown hair was left natural as she brushed through it. the sun was setting beyond the window too. she sighed and applied some lip gloss.

it amazed her how good her friends were at convincing her to stop everything and follow them where they want to go. sometimes she didn't mind but some nights she really just wanted to scream shut up at them.

that night, she wore a wine red satin dress with really thin straps. it took her a while to decide a pair of heels but she went with basic black ones. she slipped them on and did her last final touches to herself before grabbing her small  silver purse and locking up her house.

she drove to the resteraunt they took forever deciding on while taylor swifts "midnights" blasted through her radio. she found the place and parked next to madison's familiar car. the place was quite busy for it to be a wednesday night.

she walked inside and told the hostess that she was with "beers party". she showed her where to go and she greeted her best friends with a big smile and hug. "stella!" delaney squealed at her.

stella scooted next to her at the round table and gave her a hug. "i haven't seen you guys in forever." she spoke like they were distanced for years. they all have been busy with their own lives recently to chat.

"i know, it's been too long." they agreed.

the whole night they caught up with each other. they must have been there for hours how long they've talked. they never realized how much changes in someone's life in a month.

"wait, so, you're mad at him because he was seen with someone else once?" delaney asked her.

stella rolled her eyes, "no no not just once. after that article there was millions."

"well stella, you can't believe alll the articles because that one about you and timothee chalamet seeing each other wasn't true." madison pitched in.

stella shrugged, "i guess you're right."

"tomorrow you should just ask him. see if the articles are right. you can't ignore that boy for forever just because he's seeing someone else when you guys aren't even dating."

she looked at madi and nodded as she spoke. she reached over the table and hugged the girl before opening her arms for delaney to join.

"my sweet peas." she laughed, bringing up their trios name from the third grade.
