TW: Some mention of alcohol, mentions of a sexual nature.
—-(Y/n) awoke the next morning in her bed.
Her head was pounding; a normality due to her infatuation with alcohol the night before.
She was tucked into her sheets, in her underwear and noticed a glass of water and an aspirin placed onto her bedside table. As much as her head hurt, she bolted upright, starting to recall the events of the previous evening.
Now her and Stephen, they didn't have sex, but they did do practically everything else.
Several times.
She had never felt so good and comfortable with someone before.
And why wouldn't she?
They were best friends.
The way he took care of her last night, and the way he moaned her name. She could feel herself heating up slightly just thinking about it. But as she stopped her thoughts, she realised her bed was empty and Stephen was nowhere in sight.
After she took her aspirin and got up, finding some sort of shirt to cover herself with, she saw a string of messages on her phone.
Got called into work.
Left you breakfast on the stove.
EAT.
I'll see you when you come in later.
Last night was fun ;)

(Y/n) looked up from her phone and let the words register into her tired mind.
So he didn't stand her up?
He left food?
(Y/n) rarely ate breakfast. She was usually busy working and Stephen had talked to her on many occasions about her broken eating routine. So, as she sat down at her kitchen island with a plate of scrambled eggs and toast in front of her, she couldn't help but wonder what would happen next.
Yes, she found Stephen very attractive, who wouldn't? And he clearly had a thing for her too. Heck, he initiated that whole thing. But what would happen if something went sour?
That would be her best friend gone.
And she didn't want that.
But last night...
Last night was incredible. And while pieces were still a slight blur, she knew she wanted to do it again.
She knew she wanted him again.
Once her headache had died down, she got herself ready and made her way to the hospital to start her shift. Since Stephen was already there, she took the train in, giving her time to distract herself with her music filled headphones.
