About a year after all that Kaecilius-Dormammu stuff, Stephen found himself finally fulfilling the role of Sorcerer Supreme.
And with his new title, came new responsibilities.
Occasionally, Tony Stark would ask him for assistance on a mission or battle alongside the other Avengers, and in the end, he asked him to move into Avengers Tower since his help and abilities were very reliable.
Plus, having the Sorcerer Supreme on their team would be a great addition.
Stephen kept rejecting the offer, until eventually, Wong convinced him it would be a good thing.
And today was the day: Moving day!
Stephen arrived at the tower around mid afternoon.
And he was dreading this part.
Even though he had fought alongside the team a few times, they didn't really have time for the formalities in between punches or spells. So, this was the first time he was really meeting most of them; only actually having spoken to Stark outside of combat.
He had a small suitcase in his hands. Of course, it was spelled to hold more than it looked like it could. Wong told him it would defeat the point of moving if he was just going to keep opening a gateway into the Sanctum to get his things, hence why the suitcase was present.
He was led through the lobby, thankfully, by Pepper and was awaiting the arrival of the rest of the team in their living area a few floors up.
He wasn't in his sorcerer attire, although his cape was still present around his shoulders.
"Wizard!"
Tony walked into the room with open arms, followed closely by Bruce, Steve and Clint, while Vision phased through the wall next to them.
Stephen detested that nickname, finding it slightly insulting, but he knew Tony only said it to tease.
"Welcome to the tower." Steve greeted, walking up to Stephen, his arm held out for a handshake, which he accepted kindly.
"Thank you. I promise I won't be much trouble." He replied, causing both men to chuckle.
While greetings and small talk took place, Tony took it upon himself to call down everyone else.
"F.R.I.D.A.Y.? Put me on the P.A."
"Certainly, sir."
"Ladies, pop-tart enthusiasts, speedsters and metal arm/wing men, we have a guest."
In an instant, Pietro appeared and rushed in to welcome Stephen. And a few minutes later, Bucky, Sam & Thor wandered in from the kitchen.
Everyone was pleasantly talking.
Stephen hadn't met half of the team on missions before, since, as Bruce and Steve informed him, they had different teams set up for different situations, and they didn't always need 'all hands on deck'.
"And where are the ladies?" Tony asked the room, irritated they were making a late impression on their new tower-mate.
"Don't worry, we're here." Natasha replied as the three of them walked into the room.
Wait, three?
"Sorry, Stephen, we were getting ready, it's ladies night." Wanda informed as she made her way into Vision's arms, giving her a spin as the ladies showed off their outfits.
But Stephen's attention was hung on her.
"Yeah, sorry, always taking forever to get ready." (Y/n) scoffed sarcastically as she walked further into the room and towards Stephen.
