(Y/n) was leaning against the bathroom sink, trying her best to fix her messy hair when she heard the door open. She didn't think anything of it until she saw Stephen through the bathroom mirror. She turned around, meeting his eyes.
"This is the women's bathroom."
"Did you think that was going to stop me?"
He moved into her, cupping her jaw as he stationed himself between her legs.
"Tell me you don't want me."
His voice was low, sending sparks across her nerves as he spoke. And he could see her slightly shiver, which brought an amused smirk up to his lips.
Instead of replying, she moved her index finger down along his shirt's buttons, tugging and eventually undoing them.
They stared at each other while her hands worked, and once she was done, he finally leaned in to kiss her.
Immediately, as his lips met hers, he could hear her moan. His touch was enough to set her off. He kissed her deeper while her hands trailed his now exposed torso.
She slid a leg up and hooked it around his hip as one of his hands found its way from her waist down to her leg, and held it up before he picked her up and lifted her onto the sink counter.
She hooked both legs around him, her hands focused on keeping his lips on hers-

"You ok?"
(Y/n) snapped out of her thoughts and looked up, seeing Natasha and Wanda standing behind her.
She had excused herself from the group and started to tidy her hair and makeup before getting lost in thought. She looked back at herself in the mirror and noticed how much she was sweating.
"I brought you a change of shoes." Wanda smiled as she held up a small bag for her.
"Thanks..."
(Y/n)'s voice was quiet, and the other two could definitely tell something was bothering her. The two women found a place either side of (Y/n) and leant against the sink.
"It's him. Isn't it?"
Nat was right. And the look (Y/n) gave her confirmed this.
"What happened?"
"These two put on quite the show earlier. You're lucky Barton was watching over Sam when you did."
(Y/n) looked back up at her reflection. Once again, Nat was right.
It was just a show.
It shouldn't mean anything.
It didn't.
As far as she was concerned, Stephen was helping her do their job.
"You're right. Just a show."
Nat and Wanda shared a look before glancing back to (Y/n). They knew how conflicted she had been about Stephen. And so, they each hooked an arm around her.
"Drink?"
"I could use one."
"Me too."
The three of them giggled as (Y/n) moved to open the bag and change her shoes before they left the bathroom to rejoin the group.

Natasha had managed to get the team a private balcony that oversaw the dancefloor. As the ladies made their way back, they saw the team dotted around the leather couches that lined the balcony, happily sipping away on their drinks.
