On a particularly quiet Tuesday, Pony walks in on Zizzy in her room, pacing around in a circle, almost as if in distress. Seeing her pace around like this always made him worry, even when they were little kids, and this never changed when they grew up.
"Hey, ziz, you okay?" He asks, his voice laced with concern and a hint of confusion.
She immediately stops pacing around her room and looks at him "oh, hi pony"
He crosses his arms in front of his chest and asks again "yes, hi zizzy, are you okay?"
She straightens her back and replies as if she doesn't know what he's talking about "yeah, I'm fine, why do you ask?"
He sighs softly and says "well, you've been pacing around your room. What's wrong, babe?"
She blushes a little at the pet name and sighs back "I...I forgot your birthday. And I may or may not be panicking because what if your birthday was today and I forgot? I don't want to forget my childhood friend's birthday"
He pauses then bursts out laughing, his eyes tearing up from laughter "I-is that it?"
She huffs softly, her face flushed at his laughter, he calms down, his laughter softening to a chuckle "zizzy, my birthday isn't today, it's on the 12th of July, don't worry about forgetting."
Her face turns a little more red as she says "oh..well, I don't want to forget your birthday. Ever. Can you write it down somewhere I can see?"
He chuckles softly and pulls a pen out of his pocket and writes down on a Sticky Note:
"Pony's birthday: 12th July, not any other day ;)"
He takes the sticky note and sticks it on her desk "there, that way, you can't forget my birthday"
She sighs softly and goes over and nuzzles herself into his chest, answering "thank you, pony"
He laughs a little and wraps his arms around her neck, holding her close "it's not a problem, ziz"
