mori's coat hanging off his shoulders the same way the meat slabs are also hanging contrasting w the balloon's floating up when in reality all of dazai is being held down it isnt just gravity that keeps him bound to the ground its the blood its the loss its the—[GUNSHOT]
*bleeding out on the ground* the meat being cut + hung like that by the butcher's for mass consumption thereby exposing the internal organs and bones to potential buyers coupled w the "potrait" of dazais childhood body to mirror the same display of vulnerability + defenselessness

i think i see the light doc it might be over for me fr 😭 (his light and easy grip on the balloon reflecting the way a child would hold the string but instead of representing innocence and being carefree it shows his tennuous hold on childhood, bloodied as it is ... *flatlines*)
