Hair spray, makeup brushes, rollers, perfume and jewelry. All images that flashed the day of prom. I was putting on my final earring before looking in the mirror. The lady styled I'm hair into an old fashioned wave style. I had a red lip, and some slightly dark eye makeup. I was really anxious. What if I fell down the steps? Or my dress ripped? I was snapped out of my thoughts when my mom knocked on my door.
"Honey, Johnson is ready to go get Liv, and Jacks downstairs.. lets go.." she said before eyeing me up and down.
"You look great. But terrified. Calm down.." she whispered hugging me. I took a deep breath and nodded. She let me go, fixed a curl, and made her way downstairs. I grabbed my clutch and my phone, and made my way downstairs. Jack and Johnson were laughing about God knows what, and then Johnson hit his arm and pointed to the steps. I walked all the way down and towards them.
"Well, look at my sister all grown up" Johnson said. He hugged me and I blushed slightly.
"Thanks brother, you clean up nice yourself" I replied. I looked at Jack, who just stared at me.
"You look nice Gilinsky" I said. He cleared his throat
"I.. Thanks.. You- I... Pretty... Um.." he coughed.
"What I think Jack is trying to say, is you look amazing, and you took his breath away. Right Jack?" Johnson asked. Jack's face grew insanely pink and I smiled slightly
"Exactly that.." He said smiling a little.
"Well.. thank you" I replied. I got his boutonnière from the kitchen and carefully placed it on his jacket. We got him a white one, since we was wearing a black and white tux. He put my corsage in my wrist, and my family was snapping away with the pictures. we posed for a few, and made our way to the limo. The guys talked about music and guy stuff in the car, I just looked out the window the whole time. We pulled up at Liv's and got out. She made her way outside, and she had taken the cute route for prom. Her dress was lavender, with crystals on the top. She and Johnson looked absolutely adorable as the tried to pose for pictures and out on the flowers. We all got into the car after the pictures.
"You look so cute guys!" I said. Johnson smiled and looked at Liv.
"Only cause Liv looks absolutely amazing. She completed the whole thing" he said. she blushed and kissed his cheek.
"Stop" she said smiling. I smiled at them and looked up at Jack, who was looking down at me. I felt myself blush and I smiled at him and looked out the window. He grabbed my face gently, and made me look at him
"You look, amazing. there I finally grew the balls to say it" he said laughing. I smiled
"Thank you Jack. And so do you" I said. He kissed me, and laced his fingers through mine.

When we got to the venue, all of our friends were waiting for us outside.
"Well shit better late than never!" Skate yelled. He patted the guys on the back and they all posed for their group pictures. Christy, Marie, and Rae looked absolutely amazing. Christy chose a navy blue dress that was fitted all the way down. It had a slit in the leg that came up to mid thigh, and she just looked amazing. Her long hair was straightened, and her makeup was gold and sultry. Marie, chose a white dress. It had a lace decal on the top, and it looked like Bella from twilights wedding gown. I thought it looked beautiful. Her light brown hair was curled, and she looked like a princess. Rae, chose a black gown. It was a two piece, and it had silver crystals everywhere. her makeup was silver and black, and her brown hair was done into an updo. She looked amazing, they all did. We made our way inside and got seated. After eating the music began. Jack declined my first offer to dance so Sammy stood up
"Let's go mini Johnson" he said. I followed him to the dance floor and we began dancing. The son was some fast song, and Sammy was making a fool of himself for my own benefit. I tried to contain my laughter the whole time but he then began doing the Carlton, and I couldn't hold my laughter anymore. Christy walked over and shook her head laughing.
"What am I gonna do with you Samuel!" She said. He pulled her close and began dancing around with her. I smiled and made my way to the punch table. Tanner was there with some girl, who's dress was cut so high and bust so low I was surprised they even let her in. His eyes stood on me, and I felt Jack's arm circle around my waist.
"Let's dance" he whispered. I looked up at him. Goodnight moon by go radio was playing
"You wanna slow dance?" I asked, astonishment clearly in my voice.
"Well it isssss prom right?" He asked. I followed him as he led me to the dance floor, and we began swaying with the music.
"I'm impressed gilinsky" i said. he smiled down at me
"Anything for my baby" he said.
"You know what I'm excited for?" I asked
"What?" He asked
"The after party, I hear it's always crazy" i said.
"Woah there little one, I'm gonna have to keep an eye on you" he said laughing. I rolled my eyes and smiled
"Yeah whatever" I replied. He lightly kissed me, and we continued dancing and having fun the rest of the night.

After prom, we drove to Skates beach house. The whole senior class was gonna be there, and skate had people set up so when we got there it would be ready. We all brought a change of clothes and changed. People started pouring in, and drinks started getting passed around. Bud also got passed around and there were hookahs everywhere. I danced with Jack and the girls. Lacey even showed up and she's friends with Skates family so she danced with me. She told me that manny had practice for us Sunday, so I had to be ready. After we finished talking, she walked away and I went to look for Jack, who I hadn't seen in a little while. I found him with the guys and he was clearly tipsy. I giggled at how silly he looked. I had drank too, but I was fine. he on the other hand..
"Oh there goes my girl" he said. I smiled and waved. He placed his arm on my shoulder and we went to the back, where the beach was.
"You know baby. I want you to be mine" he said. I pushed hair out of his face
"So you do?" I asked
"Mhmmmm" he replied
"That's because you're drunk Jack" I said
"Oh I know I'm drunk. But if I wasnt, I wouldn't have the balls to say that. I want you to be my girlfriend. and I'm too scared to ask. But I really like youuuuu" he slurred. He's clearly drunk.
"Okay Jack." I replied.
"Noooo really. watch when I can see straight, I'll make you my girlfriend" he said. I giggled slightly and patted his chest.
"Okay buddy"

After the party, since I was sober I drove everyone home. Johnson and I made our way inside and I showered and laid down. I began thinking about what Jack had said. Was he serious? It had the alcohol consumed him? I would ask him when I saw him again. But I was nervous.. what if he didn't mean it.
