I jumped on my bed as soon as I walked into the door. Home. finally. yes touring was insanely fun, but living on a bus with a bunch of guys wasn't. Jack walked in with my heaviest bag, which he offered to carry, and he set it on the floor. I shook my head at the sight of his fading black eye which he got a few nights ago fighting at a party.
FLASH BACK *
the guys and I were at a party. our last hoorah before tour ended. I excused myself to use the bathroom, when I felt two arms wrap around me. I hated when Jack did this so I turned around, only to see it wasn't Jack. it was some guy who was about two years older than me.
"Get off me" i scoffed. His grasp only tightened as he leaned in. I moved away and tried pushing him off, when I saw a fist connect to his face. Jack handed me off to Sammy and he and the guy began fighting. after the 7th punch I grabbed jacks arm and he looked back at me, anger all over his face
"Please.. let's go" i said. he dropped his arm and that's when the bastard took his chance and his jack once. Jack punched him and led me out of the party. Not letting me go the entire time .

"Babe I can't believe you got a black eye." I scoffed. Jack laid next to me and laid his head on my chest.
"I really don't care. the guy honestly deserved it" he said. I smiled a little and Jack kissed my hand
"My mom wants you to come over for dinner" he said.i felt my heart jump because Jack avoided taking me home since we've became a couple. He knew how embarrassing they would be, but we've been dating for five months already.
"Okay cool what time?" I asked.
"6" he said before sitting up. I looked at the clock and it read "11:23 am" I nodded and he stood up and kissed me
"I'll see you later then?" He asked. I nodded and he said a quick good bye before leaving.

My day was spent with my mom because my dad was away on business. She took me to lunch and took me shopping. But kept avoiding the conversation of my passport which annoyed me. Once we got home it was time for me to get ready for dinner. I showered and left my hair in its natural curly state. Jack told me I didn't have to dress up so I just put on a white top, with boyfriend jeans and some sandals. I did my makeup and saw it was already 5:39. Jack beeped from outside and I said a quick goodbye to my mom before hopping into his car. He looked me over and smiled; then leaned in and kissed me
"You always look good" he said before driving off. I bit my lip and smiled
"Thanks babe" I replied.

We pulled up at his house and could hear his sisters arguing. Jack sighed and I squeezed his hand. reassuring him it was okay. He led me inside and his sisters stopped fighting immediately.
"Hi!" They both said.
"How's our favorite Johnson?" Molly asked
"She's jacks favorite too right jackers?" Laura asked. Jack rolled his eyes and led me to the kitchen. His mom was finishing dinner and his father was helping. They hugged me immediately and I smiled and hugged back
"Good to see you guys again" I said
"Same here!" Mr. Gilinsky said. I helped ms. finnegan set up and she tried arguing
"It's the least I could do" I said. She gave me a sweet smile and let me be. once we were seated, we all made small talk
"Excited for Australia?" Molly asked
"Insanely. I just need a few things before next week and I'll be set." I said worry flashed over Jack's face I tried ignoring it and continued my conversation with his family members. they asked about college and what I wanted to do in the future I replied with I don't know which school I'm going to and I'd like to study English since I was so good at it. After dinner I helped clean up and Jack drove me home. He had an over night bag so I guess he was spending the night. My mom wasn't home when we got there and the whole time in the car we were talking about getting my papers ready. So I called her
"Mom where's my papers?" I asked.
"Lia just tell JJ to get it." she said
"You touch everything and he knows where it is" she said. I hung up and went to his room. He was with liv so I knew I shouldn't barge in because they hadn't been together in months. I led Jack to my parents office and began going through their cabinets. I found a whole section in my moms and sat down to look, taking a big folder out. my name was on the top so I had to take a look
"Baby let Johnson do it.." Jack said. I ignored him and opened it. The first paper was just names written down so I figured that was at my parents when my parents were figuring my name out. I then found a picture of Johnson holding a baby. On the back it was written
"Johnson and Lia" I smiled slightly. One year old Johnson looked so confused as did i. but I looked rather older in the picture. about two months old. I knew it was me because the baby had the same small birthmark on her cheek as I did. I kept looking and found pictures of me again, but smaller. An unknown woman was holding me. confusion ran through me so I kept looking. I then found a paper that was titled
"Saint Mary rose orphanage adoption finalize" and my parents signature. tears sprung in my eyes when I came to realization of what this all was.
"Baby what's wrong?" Jack asked. I turned back and faced him
"Jack, I'm adopted." I said
