At school the next day, Jack greeted me with a quick hello and then he walked away. it made me kind of upset, because I really wanted to see him. I made my way to all of my classes and didn't see Jack for the rest of the day.

I got to dance half an hour early, and sat on the hard wood floor doing my stretches. Manny walked in and sat across from me.
"So this boy toy of yourssssss.. will he be there Saturday?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows. I blushed and looked at my hand.
"Umm... I don't know actually." I said. He smiled and then I started dancing early just to avoid any conversation about Jack. half an hour into practice, manny walked in with a gift bag from fossil.
"Oh did you go shopping?" I asked pausing my music.
"No your boy toy did. by the way his eye brows are amazing. He's really nice" he said handing me a bag. I got insanely pale.
"God he didn't" I whispered. I sat down and dug into the bag. I pulled out a box and opened it and saw a watch that I had my eye on forever. He and Johnson had the male version. And I kept bugging my parents because I wanted this one so bad. it was a silver Vintage Muse Multifunction Stainless Steel watch. it was 125$ but after taxes and Insurance it would come up to at least 200$.
"I'm gonna kill him" I whispered shutting the box. I picked up the note and opened it
"I'll give you all my hours, if I have the chance" it read.
"I'm gonna killlllll him" I said. Manny smiled.
"Look, don't complain. I'm a guy and even though I play for the other team, I know when a guy likes someone. And he my dear, likes you." he said. I blushed even more.
"Really?" I asked and he nodded.
"Now you better give that boy a big ol kiss when he picks you up later. oh and he told me to tell you that he's picking you up" he said and smiled. I smiled a little and got back to work.

As practice winded down to an end, my heart began to race. What exactly was I going to say to Jack? I grabbed my stuff and walked outside and saw Jack waiting. he was leaning against his car hood looking at his phone. He had two bags in his hand and I groaned which caused him to look up. the biggest smile formed on his face. And I honestly couldn't be mad at him anymore.i put my stuff next to me and wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. I must have caught him by surprise but he kissed back. I pulled back and looked at him.
"Stop buying me things. I don't like it" I said. he rested his hands on my hips.
"It's just these and one more thing" he said. I shook my head
"No.. I don't like you spending money on me Jack" I said. he furrowed his brows together
"Listen to me. I intend on making you my girlfriend. a perk of that means I'll spoil you rotten. so just shhhh and accept my gifts" he said smiling.
"Jack I'm gonna look like a gold digger" I said pouting.
"I know your feelings. all that matters" he said.
"Where were you today. you like disappeared." I said.
"I was doing research. now here." he said handing me the bags. I took them, and he left his hand on my waist, watching as I took the boxes out of the bag. one was a Nike box. the other was a box with some French word written on it. I opened that one first, and inside were a pair of white heels.
"Geez how did you get my size." I said, ripping the note off the top and opening it .
"I'll take you to every party..." I started. I placed the box down and opened the Nike ones. Inside were the Nike SB Stephan Janoski Max that I had been wanting. I took the note off and read it
"Cause I remember how much you loved to dance..." I read
"Jack no... please return this... all of this. I can't accept it" I whispered. He kissed me and I pulled back.
"Get used to it Babe." he whispered in my ear.
"My names baby remember" I replied. I felt him smile against my ear and I smiled.
"Well it's gonna be both" he said laughing. I reached down and picked up all of the bags and stuff he had given me.
"Lord... how am I gonna explain this to my mom" I said. he smiled
"She knows. don't worry" he said, adding a wink at the end. He took the bags from me and placed them in the car. I got in the passenger seat, and when he got in I leaned over and lightly kissed him.
"Just... know you're forgiven Jack..." I said. His face lit up
"Not because of the gifts though" I said. a quizzical look spread across his face.
"You took this time to learn things about me, that no one else seemed to care about... you actually listened when I asked my parents for things... You talked to my brother and my parents which I want from any guy interested in me... you've done everything I could possibly want... and it proves to me.. how you feel about me." I said. A humongous grin spread across his face.
"And it'll just get better. wanna know why?" He asked. I smiled and moved closer
"Why?" I asked.
"Because you are... and forever will be, my baby" He said kissing me. I kissed back and he drove me home.
"See you tomorrow?" I ask, holding all of the gifts Jack had given me that day in tow.
"Definitely." he said
"Oh before I forget, I have a huge performance Saturday and-" I started
"I'll be there." he said smiling. I felt my face legit light up.
"Really!" I asked
"Really. Now good night" he said. He kissed my temple and watched until I went inside, where I went to my room, and prepared for bed with a huge smile on my face.
