At the Roanapur City Police Station, reports of two incidents had been brought over to Chief Saensak's office, the deputy, Kulap, was one to inform Saensak of the latest occurrences in town.
Kulap: A few witnesses from El Burro Gordo stated they saw Tony Harper enter the bar with a couple of men in Hawaiian shirts - presumably bodyguards. Apparently, they assaulted a couple of Albanian mobsters - one of them received a nasty bottle smash to the face, blinded and is now being hospitalised.
Saensak: [groans lowly] Son of a bitch...
Kulap: About an hour later, there was a gunfire attack that happened outside the Yellow Flag Bar, originating from a blue-coloured car. No reported victims from the area, oddly enough.
Saensak: No victims? That's rare.
Kulap: However, shortly afterwards, there came an armoured vehicle that started chasing that same car before somebody began trying to gun it down with a revolver and machine gun.
Saensak: You got patrol cars searching for that armoured transport, deputy?
Kulap: Yes, Chief. We have a few patrol teams looking for the enquired vehicle, being driven by two or - possibly - three suspects. It was said to be of U.S. origin; military-grade.
Upon hearing what had happened on the same day, Saensak gave out a tired sigh as he rubbed the side of his head out of stress.
Saensak: Send your men to question some of Harper's "skulls" at the Open-Air Market. No discrepancy, unless those bastards start trouble with any of you. Arrest 'em if you have to.
Kulap: I'm on it, sir.
At the Infernia Club
Back in the nightclub with D-Train's "You're the One For Me" playing at the dance floor, Revy and Carlos were at Tony's office, explaining what had just happened over an hour ago, as well as explaining about Feng and her true reason for being ending up in Roanapur. Tony wasn't taking the news too lightly, as he rose up from his desk chair in his mildly surprised reaction.
Tony: She's a fuckin' spy??
Revy: Uh-huh. Turns out, this "Feng" chick was sent to steal online data from Jane and those basement-dwellin' hackers who work with her.
Carlos: And apparently, Jane knew of her actual background, so not only she exposed Feng, but she also had her framed as a double agent, too. That's why those assassins in that hummer were after her, they were hired by the very department she worked for.
Tony: And now, you're both tellin' me - If I heard this right - that we should be helpin' out this chinky bitch, despite the fact she tried to steal from one of my associates?
Before he could answer that question, Carlos turned his head to Revy, who was already giving him a serious glare. Neither her, nor Tony, were pleased that the Latino gunman insisted on both protecting Feng and helping her get out of her predicament. Carlos was frowning from how far he was willing to lend this Chinese infiltrator a hand.
Carlos: That's what I thought was best for Feng's well-being, T. I couldn't just leave her to die by the hands of those pendejos.
