Ninety-nine percent of the time, Jimin does get along with Minjeong. She's grown accustomed to the younger girl's stubbornness and childish tendencies. Dealing with things like being interrupted mid-speech or not doing something she's been told so many times to do right away is almost always tolerable. Because Jimin knows Minjeong eventually obeys-courtesy of Jimin's intimidating demeanor when actually upset.
Although she does have a few days where she just can't handle Minjeong's attitude. Like on the pre menstrual days or even post, and days where she's just so tired after work that she just stops putting up with Minjeong. The next day would always start with Minjeong apologizing, saying she's terribly sorry that she'd made Jimin mad, and Jimin would always brush it off, saying it's just because the both of them were tired and giving Minjeong a pat on the head before they go on with their day.
The day the incident took place happened to be a busy day. A day where they had places to be every two or three hours. A day where no one had time to rest or take a breather. A day where they were constantly moving around by car. A day where they all had to answer a bunch of stupid pointless questions, smile and look pretty for the camera.
It was on the very last schedule of the day when Minjeong had done something that pissed Jimin off to the max.
"Where's Winter?" Jimin asked around, in desperate search for her group member. The girl was delaying their rest and Jimin simply wanted to get things over with.
Minjeong was nowhere to be found on set. The last time Jimin recalled seeing the younger was when she excused herself to the bathroom when their ten-minute break began. She checked the bathroom and found it empty. Their manager even checked the men's bathroom just in case.
They had a solid two minutes before they had to shoot the rest of the interview but Minjeong seemed to want the opposite of wrapping up.
"I think I saw her leaving a few moments earlier."
Bless whoever it was that told her that, because the second she ran out of the studio, she saw Minjeong's long black hair extensions disappear around the corner. She sprinted, their manager was hot on her tail, and yanked at Minjeong's hand.
The younger girl was startled. She relaxed once she saw both her leader and their manager. "What?"
Jimin said nothing. She simply dragged Minjeong back to the studio and only let go when they finally came back, standing amongst the buzzing staff, and when Minjeong complained about her grip being too tight.
"What did you think you were doing?" Jimin jumped straight into it, not giving Minjeong time to further complain.
Minjeong furrowed her brows, eyeing the group's leader like she had two heads. "Out to get some fresh air? Was that not obvious?"
Jimin stared in disbelief for a moment before she let out a wry laugh. "Without a single person there with you to supervise you? Do you know how dangerous that is, Minjeong?"
