Being a cat has its pros and cons. Jimin only found out about that when she had felt extremely jealous that Minjeong had hung out with a mutual friend of theirs without telling her anything or even hinting at it.
“I'll see you soon— Whoa!” Minjeong yelped in the doorway upon seeing her. “Jimin, what are you doing on there?”
The shoe rack wasn't comfortable. But it was the closest space to the front door, and Jimin wasn't one to let a good spot go to waste.
Besides, she was a cat for a reason.
“Waiting for you.”
Minjeong looked at her through squinted eyes. For a moment, she stood idle in the doorway and observed the older one sitting with her legs crossed atop the shoe rack.
In return, Jimin stared back at her. Her ears that had been low immediately twitched upright as Minjeong finally stepped inside. “You didn't tell me you were hanging out with Chaehyunnie,” She mumbled slowly, wary.
“Well, now you know, right?”
A frown etched itself onto her face when Minjeong simply walked past her and into the house. “You should've told me.” She pattered right behind Minjeong into the kitchen.
The younger groaned loudly. “What is it, Jimin?”
Jimin's ears drooped low once again when she heard the tone Minjeong used. She shook her head, watching as Minjeong dived into the fridge. “No, it's nothing..”
“Clearly, it's not nothing. If it was nothing, you wouldn't have waited.” Minjeong shut the fridge the second she grabbed a bottle of some yogurt drink Jimin could've cared less about. And then Minjeong sighed. “So what is it, Jimin?”
She's territorial. She can be a little possessive when it comes to her best friends, and even more when it's her closest friend of seven years. It makes her upset and pissy and sulky. Sometimes she doesn't like being jealous of someone else just for spending a few minutes with her friends.
But it's fine. Sometimes.
But most times, it isn't fine.
Aeri's been watching TV since forever and Jimin can't estimate just how much longer she can deal with it. She feels she might combust if it goes on for another minute.
