The heat was beginning to irritate her.

Rooting through her bag, she couldn't find anything to cover her without cooking.

The couple was generously given a large spare bedroom in the mansion. The king-sized bed was tiny compared to their home bed, but Selene appreciated having a bed to sleep in nonetheless.

The rustic bedroom was comfortable and familiar. It reminded her of home.

Standing in front of the bed with her bag on the floor, Selene only wore pearl panties. Her breasts felt comfortable out of the bra, but the sweat building up under them wasn't exactly pleasant.

Resting her hands on her hips, the pale woman puffed out her cheeks and thoughtfully tapped her foot.

With a shifting gaze, she noticed Ullr's giant bag sitting on a chair against the wall.

Walking over, she peeked inside, stuffed a hand in, and pulled out a large tan tunic. It was the tunic he wore during the day, but it was exactly what she needed to survive the boiling night.

Pulling it on, the shirt dwarfed her chubby frame. It nearly reached her knees, the V-neck exposing the valley in between her breasts. Without a bra, there wasn't much cleavage to look at.

Taking her incredibly long hair, which had been dragging across the floor, she carefully started to section it into a fishtail braid.

Padding to the large windows, which let in the gentle moonlight, she grabbed the sliding door handle and pulled it open. It slid open loudly, and the gentle breeze of the night welcomed her warm body with delight.

The sliding door led to the outside. Since the bedroom was on the first floor, they had a small wooden patio with two steps to gentle grass below.

Breathing a sight of relief, Selene absentmindedly stared at the moon as her delicate fingers were woven through her silk-like hair.

As she gazed out the open sliding door, Her gaze swept the forest edge curiously.

But, they stopped on a figure.

Standing amongst the bushes was a tall and hunched-over figure. It might've been a trick of the light, considering she saw two stout ears and it's lack of detail, but it made her uneasy nonetheless. Frowning and pausing, her eyebrows curved up with concern.

Without warning, two massive hands gently took her unfinished braid from her grasp.

Softly gasping, she let her fingers slip through the hair as it escaped her touch. She rested her hands in front of her, clasping them together as the breeze soothed the heat of her body.

When her gaze returned to the woods- the figure was gone.

A trick of the light, she supposed.

Droplets plopped to the wooden floorboards behind her, sometimes falling to her exposed collarbone and neck.
