Thank you Chloejean4x for inspiring this story. Basically, her and I joked about how Haliee Steinfeld could play Katie McGrath's daughter and I went from there. Seriously though, she really could play Katie's daughter. So, Kate Bishop is now Kate Bishop Luthor, daughter of Lena Luthor.

Lex and Lillian Luthor, the heads of Luthor Corp, er, former heads. It was all over the news. Mother Son duo being escorted out of Luthor Corp. They were screaming and yelling their usually more private rants. Lena was watching it all unfold, feeling sick to her stomach. But she was no fool, she knew what was to come. With Lional Luthor gone, Lex and Lillian in prison, well, on their way to prison. All heads were going to turn to Lena. But she had other things to worry about.

"Mom?" A voice came from behind Lena.

She turned around to find her teenager, Kate Bishop Luthor, walking in the room.

"Is everything alright?"

"No. Your uncle Lex and grandmother were just arrested."

"What? Why?" Kate asked in a panic.

"Not sure. But knowing Lex and mother, they had it coming."

Kate sat down on the couch next to her mother.

"What about the company?"

"Well, either it crumbles or I take over."

"What are you going to do?"

"Not sure. I want to be here for you, but since your grandmother got arrested, the money she had been giving us will stop."

Despite Lillian's cruel nature towards Lena, she has always had a soft spot for her granddaughter. So when Lena got pregnant with her, Lillain started giving her money to help her granddaughter grow up.

"What's going to happen now?" Kate asked.

"Well, probably within the next day, I will be receiving an ungodly amount of phone calls from the company, and possibly an in person visit. They'll probably try to either convince me to take over or to sell the company."

"What are you going to do?"

"Not sure. Selling would get us a lot of money now, but accepting the job would get us more money but in the long run. And if I do accept the position, we'd have to move."

"Well, if we sell and get the money, we'll eventually lose it and have to try and find a new job. But taking the job now would solve that problem anyways."

Lena smiled at her daughter.

"Sometimes, I forget how smart you are."

"What can I say, I'm a Luthor." Kate smiled back.

"Smart ass." Lena chuckled.

"Like mother, like daughter."

Lena shook her head at her daughter's response.

"What about your friends here? If I take the job, we'll be moving away from them."

"I know. It'll suck, but if we are to get some sort of sustainability in the long run. This is the only way. Unless you want to work in an office building with a Micheal Scott and Dwight Schrute."

"Yeah, how long do you think I would last before punching that boss?"

"Not long. I'd give you a week, tops."

"Really?"

"Oh yeah. I've seen the way you talk to these types of guys. It ain't pretty. Kind of scary too. But badass."

"Fair."

"But don't worry, you'd still last longer than Sara and Ava."

Lena laughed knowing she was telling the truth.

"Ok, when they come and offer a price, I'll turn them down. I'll take over Luthor Corp. Although, I have an idea about that."

"Hmm?"

"Well, now that my brother and mother have shown the world their true colors, Luthor is going to be a stain on the company's name. So, I'm thinking of changing the name."

"To what?"

"How about L-Corp. A force for good."

"I like it. A rebranding is a good idea too."

Lena pulled Kate into her side and kissed the top of her head.

"Me too. Love you, Kate."

"Love you too, mom."

As Lena predicted, her phone would not stop ringing, mostly by potential buyers. One call did come from Luthor Corp. They had questions about what to expect next. Lena explained the plan and called her lawyers right after. The day went on and representatives of Luthor Corp and her lawyers stopped by their home the very next day.

"Ms. Luthor. You do realize that if you take this job, you and your daughter would have to move to New York, correct?"

"We are well aware of that. I talked things over with Kate last night."

It didn't take that long for Lena to sign all the paperwork she needed. The two groups left and Lena joined her daughter in packing everything.

That day, she put their house up for sale and started the process required to enroll Kate at the local high school, Midtown High.

One week.

That's how long everything took for them to be on a private jet with all of their stuff to New York for the next chapters of their lives to begin.

Once they made it to New York, they got a lift to their new penthouse. Their stuff was being delivered. Their new home was massive. More than big enough for the two of them to live in.

"Holy crap, mom. This place is amazing."

"I agree. Plenty of space for me to do some work, you to do your school work and you extracurriculars."

"Speaking of, are you sure they have archery there?"

"Yes, Kate. For the thousandth time, they have archery there."

"I'm just double checking, again."

"I know. Are you ready for your first day of school?"

"Are you ready for your first day as CEO of L-Corp?" Kate responded, answering her question with a question.

"Fair enough."

The two Luthors began to settle in once their stuff arrived. They didn't fully unpack, only the essentials. Before either of them knew it, the day was over and they were waking up for their first days.

Kate got out of bed and made way to the kitchen, where breakfast was already waiting for her. Her mother was standing behind the two plates of eggs, bacon, and toast. Lena was wearing a black and white suit.

"Damn mom. You look great. Very professional."

Lena just raised an eyebrow to her daughter.

"What?" Kate asked.

"Nothing. Breakfast is ready."

The two of them quickly ate. Once done, Lena left for work. Kate got ready, filled her backpack with everything she needed and made way down to the lobby. Yesterday, after their first visit, Lena and Kate took a small trip around the city and Kate found a path to school.

So Kate put her earbuds in, pulled up her hood and went to the subway. It wasn't long until she was standing in front of her new school.

"Alright, Kate. Game face on." She said to herself.
