*Recap/Refresher*

Yes, I know I've been severely inactive. I'm *sorry* lol. But anyways, this is mainly for me (not sure if it's even gonna be posted?) so if it doesn't make sense... don't even worry about it lol.

Basic summary of the story so far:

Keigo and Mirko were sent on a "fetch quest" to recruit musicians for the Battle of the Bands competition at Present Mic's Bar & Grill. After browsing through a bunch of cheap garage-like bands, they stumble into Mr. Compress's venue where the LOV is playing. Keigo is disinterested in the punk music at first, but he's absolutely blown away by Dabi's guitar solo. 

Mirko and Keigo get backstage and tell the band about Mic's competition. After a few days of thinking it over, the band agrees. They're set to play at Mic's in about a month, and the competition will span over three months. 

In the meantime, Keigo helps his non-biological, aspiring guitarist little brother, Tokoyami, to perform at Giran's bar. It goes well, and after the performance, Keigo spots Dabi in the crowd by the bar. Mirko takes Tokoyami home, and Keigo chats with Dabi and the bartender, Kaina. Keigo and Dabi get along well-- even though Dabi is super drunk. Kaina ends up asking Keigo to give Dabi a ride home, and he agrees, not really knowing what he's getting himself into. Dabi, drunk, somehow makes Keigo stay the night. (Nothing too crazy happens.)

Dabi and Keigo continue to get along, despite Mirko and friends at Mic's trying to tell Keigo that Dabi is dangerous. Four months later, Dabi moves in with Keigo, mainly because Dabi's apartment is getting crowded and Keigo could use the company. 

Meanwhile, Kaina starts dating Twice; The rest of the LOV (minus Dabi) doesn't like Kaina. Twice ends up getting arrested for illegal drug possession during their show at Mic's. Kaina leads Dabi into getting super drunk after closing hours at Giran's and has sex with him while he's blacking out. Dabi isn't 100% sure about what happened but he blames himself and doesn't tell anyone. He avoids Keigo for days. 

During all that, Mirko and Fuyumi meet and hit it off. Fuyumi tells Mirko about her father wanting to throw a Thanksgiving dinner party and the complications that implies. Her mom has PTSD-induced amnesia, Dabi is a hated/feared ex-con, and Shoto is dating Sero, who is nonbinary and Endeavor doesn't approve of. The whole Todoroki family ends up going to the dinner anyway, and Keigo finally learns Dabi's real name. Other than that, though, it's a total shitshow: Kaina calls Dabi to tell him she's pregnant, Endeavor is a bitch, and Overhaul (Kaina's cousin) crashes the party and accuses Dabi of rape. He gives them the paperwork from the hospital proving Kaina is pregnant, and Touya and Keigo leave.   

Back at Dabi and Keigo's apartment, Dabi is irritable trying to forget everything and calm down with whiskey while Keigo wants an explanation and communication. They end up fighting, and Dabi admits that he did sleep with Kaina. Keigo trashes the house in a fit of anger, and then he tells Dabi to leave and not come back until he gets his shit together. 

Meanwhile, Rumi and Fuyumi try to fix things. Rumi takes Kai/Overhaul to Present Mic's where they meet up with Mic's crew. Kai recognizes Eri, Aizawa's adopted daughter, as his daughter who was taken away from him by CPS, and they decide to wait for an explanation until later. 

Back at Dabi and Keigo's apartment, Dabi is irritable trying to forget everything and calm down with whiskey while Keigo wants an explanation and communication. They end up fighting, and Dabi admits that he did sleep with Kaina. Keigo trashes the house in a fit of anger, and then he tells Dabi to leave and not come back until he gets his shit together. 

Aizawa helps Touya get into an AA program (less structured rehab meetings for alcoholics) and he starts working towards getting better. Hitoshi convinces Himiko to finish high school-- not for the diploma but to connect with other people her age and have at least semi-normal teenage years.

Later, they have that meeting at Mic's to sort out what the hell happened between Dabi and Kaina. It turns out that Kaina was the one who gave Twice the drugs he got caught with in order to get Dabi in a bad head space so she could get him alone and drunk. Months ago, she found out he came from a rich family and planned to make him get her pregnant so she could get child support money from him. Even after hearing this, Dabi decides not to press charges because he doesn't want to admit he was taken advantage of. 

Dabi relapses again and ends up breaking into Keigo's apartment completely wasted. He almost assaults Keigo but doesn't; instead, he ends up falling asleep cuddling him.  

Days go by and Keigo doesn't leave his room. Dabi doesn't remember what happened because he was so drunk, but Keigo is really freaked out by the whole thing because he was severely abused as a child. He still ends up texting Touya and encouraging him to get better. 

Hawks goes back to work and tries to forget all the bad things happening in his life right now. Touya visits Twice in jail, and Twice learns about what Dabi did. Twice doesn't forgive him. Keigo makes it clear to Touya over text that he doesn't want to see him in person, but they can still text. 

Fuyumi's explanation of the Kaina/Dabi situation:

"First, let's talk about what we know," Fuyumi says. "After some discussion between me, Rumi, Fatgum, Aizawa, and Present Mic, we've concluded these facts: Kaina and Touya slept together on the night that Twice was put into prison. At that time, Kaina was in a relationship with Twice, and Touya was in a relationship with Hawks. Afterward, Kaina left town and moved in with her cousin, Kai. After hearing Kaina's explanation, Kai arrived at my family's dinner party to pick a fight with Touya for impregnating his cousin."

Basic summary of the characters and where they're at: 

Keigo Takami/Hawks:

-Living by himself again

-Trying to get back into the swing of work

-Still texting Touya but not seeing him in person

-Everyone is worried about his mental health, but he thinks he's hiding it well

-Revealed that his mother used to sell him out for money when he was little and Endeavor was one of the customers. (No one else besides Endeavor and Hawks knows this.) 

Touya Todoroki/Dabi:

-Going to AA meetings to help with his alcoholism

-Thinking of ways to get Twice's forgiveness

-Wants to prove to Keigo that he's not a bad person but also knows Keigo needs space

-Doesn't want to press charges against Kaina but doesn't want her to just get away with what she did. (He's still a little confused and he doesn't really understand that what she did is illegal.)

Kaina/Lady Nagant:

-Pregnant with Dabi's baby (about four months in, I think? Probably?)  

-Staying with her cousin Kai/Overhaul to avoid the drama (that she caused lmao)

-Wants to have the baby so she can get money from Dabi (she doesn't know he's cut off from the Todoroki fortune)

Okay, i think that's all. I was planning on doing a time skip to after the baby was born, but... Idk. It feels kinda lazy? I want happy family DabiHawks but also... I feel like more needs to happen for me to be satisfied. Let's wait a bit and see what I come up with lol.
