(The Mysterious Tower)

Master Yen Sid looked out the window from the top of his tower, he could see 4 distinct bright stars shining out in the distance. He could feel that Senna had also left, the Land of Departure in addition to Eraqus's students.

He could feel a slight shift in change in the balance of light and dark, in most cases it wouldn't be of much concern as it would usually naturally resolve itself, but this was something unnatural. Strange creatures called Unversed, have started to infiltrate other worlds and cause great chaos.

"I had hoped, Xehanort, your heart would no longer lead you astray."

Yen Sid hoped he was wrong, but he could not afford to ignore his intuition of Xehanort, especially given the timing of the circumstances with that boy in the mask and especially with Eraqus having just informed him of his pupil Ventus running off and now sensing that Senna also ran off.

He could not say much of Ventus, but Senna was what greatly worried him. From what he was told, she was thriving and was beginning to train in the art of fighting, but her lack of experience he fears will be her downfall.

Suddenly he heard the familiar nervous laugh of his apprentice behind him.

Yen Sid turned around to see the small form of King Mickey, his anthropomorphic mouse apprentice. Since his retirement, and dedication to keeping a check on the balance of light and dark, he rarely takes on new apprentices. However, Mickey was an exception as he could sense great power and a sense of justice within the mouse who came to him seeking training, so he could better protect his kingdom.

Their training though has been quite unorthodox as Mickey splits his time between the tower and his world of Disney Castle, where he rules. As mischievous and reckless as he could be, his dedication was admirable.

He's been undertaking his own Mark of Mastery, though unlike Eraqus whose test takes only a day, Yen Sid felt such an important exam should last at least a few days with different sets of trials that each individual undertakes on their own.

"Mickey, I cannot shake the feeling something terrible is about to transpire," he said as he closed his eyes briefly.

When he opened his eyes, he wasn't surprised by the confused look on his face, after all, he'd been busy the past few days when everything started. Knowing Mickey's impulsive nature, he would rather wait until after his examination to tell him, but in the event should Eraqus's pupils fail in their mission, he would need to postpone Mickey's examination and deal with this threat himself.

(Enchanted Dominion)

As Terra came into the Lanes in Between, he could see several worlds already with their shields down to allow him entry. So, he quickly chose the closest one to make his landing in and was surprised the closer he got he didn't need to use his glider, as a portal opened up just and made the rest of the way walkable.

He figured it would be better to walk, instead of showing up in a new world riding his glider. Better to not make himself too suspicious than he already would.

Soon enough, he reached the end of the portal and quickly walked out of it into the first world out of many he would be visiting on his mission. He quickly dismantled his armor, as he took in his surroundings.

He didn't find the place too remarkable; it was mostly a meadow that was by a lake with very few flowers. Before he could decide on his course of action, he heard a swoosh noise that caused him to turn around. Surrounding him were several blue and purple humanoid creatures, whose heads were triangular heads with two long, jagged, lightning-shaped antennae, with arms and legs that ended in points.
