The Mask spun her double ended staff in a rapid circle, ricocheting the glowing arrows from the air into the ground, ensuring they didn't get lodged in the stone and activate. As they clattered to the ground, their tips hissed and crackled with the purple energy. Just as the arrows ended their tike of threat, she swung out in a wide arc, slashing through the rapidly growing roots, the steel-like wood falling to the ground. She leaped back as searing orange knife whistled just past her face, bumping into her companion, the two now fully back-to-back.

"What? First time you've been jumped by a dozen some people?" He asked, swinging a glowing blue battle axe around in a circle before tossing it towards what looked like a demonic version of null, before it flung back to his hand. He wore a deep blue sweatshirt of sorts, with near jet-black pants and a blue undershirt. His hair was as black as the void, although it was currently partially shining a hyper blue, as was his lower arms, hands, and feet. "You should have seen what me and my friends went through last Saturday! Some of us still have Void Burn!" Their talk was cut short as they both rotated quickly, still back-to-back, as beams and blasts of energy crackled past and around them. She deflected even more of the sizzling purple arrows as her fighting companion raised his arm. The color of the wafting energy seeming wafting from him flashed orange and yellow, as waves of fire and electricity blazed from his hand, crashing into 3 of their aggressors, knocking them back. He then reached behind him, snatching another orange knife by its handle, stopping it inches away from her arm, and hurled it at another target, it now having a manipulated blue aura about it.

"You shouldn't be this calm! You could possibly die here; you know that right!?" The Mask pointed out loudly, front flipping into a roll and engaging some sort of flying wither skeleton in blade-to-blade combat, their weapons sending sparks through the air as they clashed together. Behind her, he took out a second weapon, a seemingly fully straightened our katana, using it and the axe to engage with a man made of a dark colored wood, the one who had been growing roots before, while also deflecting glowing red fireballs from a crimson-colored female with red flowing hair that mimicked flames.

"My partner tells me that a lot! I normally just tell her she's cute when she's worried for me!" He jumped up in a spinning arc, smashing his glowing leg against the tree man's head, sending him crashing into the fiery woman, causing them both to go soaring off the cliffs edge. The sounds of their calls and the ongoing battle echoed around the massive cavern, the darkness being illuminated by the mass of powers being used by the two defenders and many attackers. The blocks around them were singed and cracked, nothing being stable enough to fully entrust at this point. The Mask spun her staff, slicing the wither skeleton's face. She followed up with a strong kick to the legs, earning a satisfying cracking sound, which was instantly joined by a pained scream. She lunged back, just as the demonic creature leaped for her, its claws nearly grazing her torso as she slid to a stop, readying herself once more.

"She must really love you to not slap you for that!" She commented, lifting her staff to deflect the creature's razor like claws. She spun the staff, hooking its arm in the staff blade's crook. She quickly turned around, keeping her weapon in the same position, and flung it over her head, sending the demonic null/animal smashing into a cave wall. A blaze looking thing flung past her in a plume of familiar blue energy, and she turned to see her companion now glowing even more, his arms. chest, and legs now fully a blaze in hyper blue and purple energy. He was in a violent clash with the figure that had been shooting the purple arrows, his weapons slashing against their bow. She couldn't tell what they looked like, seeing they had some sort of purple armor covering them completely. She began to spring towards the two, Entity 303 landed in front of her. This wasn't the one she had seen from her own universe, this one wielding a sparkling red scythe. He readied himself and promptly swinging it in wide arcs right for her head. She managed to block the blows, but their impacts were shoving her back with each slash... who were these guys? How did they all get this strong...

"That, my masked friend, is how soul mates work!" She heard, snapping her attention upwards. Entity 303 was flung aside, and in his place was her companion, now fully glowing from head to two. His clothing flowing as if blown by a breeze, and his eyes looked like beacons of blue and purple light. "Either way, you need to go home. May be my last chance to send you back for a while it seems." He lifted a hand before she could protest, a tear opening next the two of them. On the other side was what she felt to be her universe. She still had no idea how powerful this guy was... he wasn't even just opening portals to another omniverse. It somehow felt... different. "No complaints, I'll be fine. If who I've beat in the past didn't kill me, none of these guys will." She never lucked running from fights. She hadn't done so sense she had first escaped from being captured by the Celestials millions of years ago. Luckily, they were on good terms now.

"Fine. But you better give these guys some good scars from me and get that partner of yours a ring. She deserves it for putting up with you." She stuck her staff over her back and went through the tear, turning back to watch it close. She saw the remaining opponents all rushing her new friend all at once. His axe and katana disappeared, replaced by what seemed to be blue metal rods. Just as the portal closed, she swore she saw glowing blue blazes extend from each side, and him lunging right back at his attackers. She had a lot of questions about him, his friends, his enemies, and his universe itself. She had been so intrigued by everything there she had hardly gotten anything for her collection. Whoever he was, she guessed he could even have a good chance of taking down Dest, alone for the matter. She couldn't know that, of course. All she did know about him that he'd be fine. If she could say one thing about him, it was that he was a survivor.
