The Lost Final Weapon

The next day,Lincoln and his team,well-rested and well-trained,arrive at the same pitch where they lost the first time. Then,Lincoln sees the Dark Angels already there.

Lincoln:(in mind)"The time has come. How much stronger have we grown since that match?"

Both teams get ready,and Lincoln starts running towards the goal. Then,Andrew hits him with a slide tackle that makes him claim the ball.

Andrew:"Go,Mom!"

Andrew passes the ball to Morgan,and she passes it back to him,as they move up the pitch.

Morgan:"Show 'em what your Dad taught you."

Andrew:"Right!"

Andrew activates his technique which looked very familiar.

Andrew:"True Dark Tornado!"

Everyone gasps in shock.

Lucy:"That's my technique!"

Luna:"I'll stop you no matter what,dude!"

Luna:"God Hand X Remastered!"

Luna tries to stop the ball,but the force of the True Dark Tornado was too strong for her. Then,the ball breaks through and enters the goal.

Luna:"Damn it!"

Lola:"They stole Lucy's move and broke through Luna's evolved technique..."

Lincoln:"It's just one point! We can still bounce back from this!"

Ronnie Anne:"He's right! It's just one point!"

Shadow:"Show us."

Clyde:"Show you what?"

Shadow:"Show us how much stronger you've grown since that match!"

Lincoln:"Oh,we will!"

Lincoln runs up the pitch,and is now in front of Fiona.

Lincoln:"Fire Tornado Remastered!"

He shoots the ball towards the goal,but Fiona simply blocks it with one finger. Everyone gasps in shock.

Lincoln:"She stopped Fire Tornado Remastered that easily?!"

Fiona throws the ball at Lincoln's feet and gives him the "come here" gesture with her fingers with an angry look on her face.

Leni:"Is she like,baiting us?!"

Ronnie Anne:"Time to show her that it was a mistake to give us the ball."

Lincoln:"Right. We still have another trick up our sleeve."

Lincoln and Ronnie Anne jump up at the same time and use their combo technique.

Lincoln and Ronnie Anne:"Fire Tornado Double Drive!"

They kick the ball towards the goal,but Kaitlyn and Shadow kick it back towards the other goal,and it goes in before Luna could do anything.

Luna:"What...?"

Lana:"The ball went in before Luna was even aware of the shot."

Fiona:"So this is all they can do,huh?"

Kaitlyn:"Seriously,Shadow,what did you ever see in that team,huh? They're still the same weaklings from last time."

Shadow:(in mind)"Where are you? Come out,already!"

Suddenly,someone in a black hoodie with shorts,socks,and soccer boots steps onto the pitch.

Lincoln:"Huh?"

The person takes off their hood and throws it up into the air,and everyone on Lincoln's team gasps.

Victor:"Sorry to keep you waiting."

Lincoln:"You guys,I have a plan."

Clyde:"What's the plan?"

Lincoln:"Simple. Get the ball to Victor!"

Everyone:"Right!"

Victor substitutes with Lynn,and steps on the pitch. Then,Lola passes the ball to him and he sees a large gap ahead of him.

Victor:(in mind)"There! The time for this has finally come!"

Victor sends energy into the ball,kicks it down,rotates it,and then kicks it towards the goal.

The ball moves in different directions and everyone is shocked. Then,it enters the goal,giving Lincoln's team their first point.

Shadow:(in mind)"So that's what he's been practicing all this time. That shot alone was what inspired me."

Suddenly,Shadow's communication device starts beeping,and Damien was calling him.

Shadow:"Yes?"

Damien:"I have a new objective for you. Take him out. Now."

Shadow:"Understood. I'll tell everyone else."

Damien:"Good."

Shadow taps his device a few times,and relays the message towards everyone else on his team.

Victor starts running towards the ball,as it was in the air.

Victor:"Time to score another one!"

Victor jumps up towards the ball and Andrew does the same. Suddenly,a light flashes into Victor's eyes and he screams in pain.

Lincoln:"Victor!"

Victor is now on the ground,holding his right leg in pain.

Clyde:"What happened?! Say something!"

Victor:"I... I think something blinded me."

Leni:"Can you stand?"

Victor attempts to stand,but then he groans in pain.

Victor:"I don't think I can keep going. I'm sorry."

Luna pulls out a first-aid spray.

Luna:"Lemme see that leg,dude."

Victor pulls down his sock,and there was a nasty bruise on it. Everyone recoils in disgust.

Luna:"This might be a little cold."

Shadow:(to his teammates)"Mission complete."

Luna uses the spray on Victor's leg,and Leni helps him walk. Then,Shadow walks towards them.

Shadow:"I see you've raised your power a bit."

Lincoln:"What do you mean?"

Shadow:"Back then,you were no match for us,but now,your eyes match those of real warriors. Which I respect. I look forward to our next match."

The Dark Angels leave,and Victor stares daggers into Shadow,who gave him an evil smile.
