Chapter 4

Hayden's point of view.

Well, we were coming to an end to our tour, and as promised, Aaron is really excited about this surfing trip he's taking me on.

"I may be worthless without you!" He points into the audience "I'll never decide to replace you!" He does this cute little jump as he's getting more and more hyped about this concert "Amen, the worst is behind us now." He pointed the mic towards the audience "Woman, woman oooooh!" They sang in unison.

"Let me see those beautiful hands one more time" the crowd cheers and raised their hands. I loved our fans. I really did. We all left the stage and Aaron went for a shower as always. I decided to stay and sign stuff for fans. I can't believe this is the end of the Run Tour...kinda depressing actually

I went back to the bus to see to see Aaron's glossed over. I quickly engulfed him in my arms "Hey, man, what's wrong?" "I can't believe Run is over." I finally let go as David and Chris entered the bus. "Don't you miss being at home..don't you miss surfing? We'll be back soon." David finally came in "Don't think of the tour being over...think of it as us taking a much needed break." Aaron hugged all of us as tight as his scrawny body would let him "I love you guys more than anything. I'm serious."

We had all bought a beach house while we were off tour, so we could all work on another album. We could visit family anytime. We were pretty close to all of our homes. I had started unpacking when Aaron came into my room and plopped down on the bed. "Hey." I muttered quietly "c'mon, we're going surfing." I close my drawer "Don't you have unpacking to do?" I turned around and that's when I noticed Aaron was in nothing but swim trunks. I blushed brightly. "C'mon we have months to unpack." "Uh.." Was all I could respond with. "Here." He said, throwing a pair of swim trunks towards me. "I'll give you a minute to change and then we're going to the beach." And with that, he left.

I didn't see Aaron around, so I went outside to the beach. This place was actually really nice. I couldn't wait to vacation here with the best guys in the whole world.

As I got closer and closer to the beach, I saw a surf board in the air and Aaron wasn't coming up. I freak out and bit and started running and swam out pretty deep I couldn't find his body at all. I freaked out even more. Bodies float, right?

I finally saw his blonde hair sticking out of the water. I put him on his surf board and swam to the shore. I paced back and forth. I couldn't tell if he was breathing. What if I hadn't have come out at the time I did. If I would've come out sooner, he might now be in this situation. Tears rolled down my face as I hugged my friend. "I love you, Aaron. I'm sorry." I sobbed out and hugged him tighter...I felt a pulse.

I immediately lay him down and give him breaths. It isn't working. I press down on his chest, freaking out. "Chris! David! Someone please!" I scream out, continuing to give him breaths and push on his chest. I heard him cough. He coughed up a few mouth-fulls of water and finally woke up. "Aaron! Oh my god, Aaron!" I hugged him so tightly, crying into his shoulder "I thought I lost you." I said shakily. "Please never leave me, Aaron." I whispered

"..you saved my life." He finally said after a while of holding me. "Hayden, I would've died. Thank you." I just kept holding him tighter and tighter. I was afraid he was slip away if I let go. "Hayden, let's go inside." I got up and carried him inside. We say down inside and he crossed his legs and began. "Hayden, you saved my life." I began to say something, but he cut me off. "Just think about it. If you hadn't have been there, I would've died." "Aaron-" I sighed "Let me finish." He cut me off again. "So this means I owe you. I need to save your life or do you a favor or something. Just to say thank you for saving me." "Aaron, that's silly. You're my best friend. Why wouldn't I have saved you?" "Hayden, just do this for me..and thank you for saving my life." He hugged me tightly. The way his body felt on mine was becoming like second nature now.

It was a little while after everything had calmed down and I decided to actually put some clothes on. I went into my room and Aaron was asleep in my bed..kinda awkward. he looked naked from my view, but the blankets were covering his bottom half, so I didn't know. He won't see anything if he's sleeping, right? I pulled my trunks down as quietly as I could and quickly replaced them with boxers and a pair of jeans...oh thank god he didn't see me. Just as I started walking to leave, I heard his voice "Hayden.." I jumped, startled "Come sleep with me..I'm cold." I sighed "Aaron, go sleep in your bed." He whined "There are only 3 bedrooms in the house. I wanted to share with you. Yours is closest to the bathroom." My eyes widened "You couldn't have at least gotten a separate bed?" "It's a king. With as skinny as you are, we could fit a 3 person comfortably." I chuckled at his joke. His blue eyes going back to sleep almost instantly. I decided to lay next to him. "I can't believe I almost lost you today." I whispered
