Chapter 14

Hayden's point of view

Tara was actually a pretty cool girl. Even Aaron liked her. He never liked anyone that I liked. She was super cool though. It was impossible not to laugh at her jokes and she honestly seemed like a great mother.

"Hayden!" David called out to me. I sighed. "Yeah?" I called back from my room, I was cuddling with Aaron and I could tell the yelling was annoying him. "Come here." I sighed again and got out of bed. "I'll be right back, baby."

I went downstairs and David and Chris were down there giggling. "Hayden. Kenny is coming over for Christmas!" Chris told me while putting ornaments on the tree. "Aaron!" Chris called "Come help me decorate the tree!" Aaron ran down as fast as he could. He loved Christmas. "Yes! I looove Christmas!" God, he was cute and I knew exactly what I wanted to get him.

I took pictures of all of them in front of the tree. I got David to take some of me and Aaron. One of us, one of my picking him up like a bride, and one of us kissing. "I love you." I whispered in his ear. "I love you too." He whispered. "Aaron! Let's make cookies!" Chris whined and grabbed his hand. "Okay!" And with that, they ran into the kitchen. "Babe! I'm going to the mall. Stay here with Chris, okay?" Aaron ran up to me and kissed me and then went back to cook with Chris.

Me and David were singing very very loud and out of key. It was gorgeous. Aaron would've been proud. "And we played the first thing that came to our heads, just so happened to be the best song in the world. It was the best song in the wooorld." David never went anywhere without his Tenacious D CD's.

We pulled in at the mall and we both went to Kay. "I was going to get Aaron a promise ring to promise to be together until one of us proposes." Davis gasped "What?" I asked "Was it a bad idea?" He shook his head "Hayden. I never knew you were so romantic." Hayden blushed.

I went to the lady and picked out a nice silver band and carved on the inside 'Aaron Bruno and Hayden Scott 2015-infinity.' It was perfect. I asked her to box it and wrap it. "To Aaron. A-a-r-o-n." I spelled out for her "From Hayden. H-a-y-d-e-n." She smiled. "Thank you ma'am. Happy holidays." We both went for a coffee and left.

"What the hell happened!?" I screamed when I walked in "Aaron Bruno! Get in here!" I yelled like a parent. The kitchen was a MESS. There was cookie dough everywhere and and every dish we owned was dirty and in the sink. "Hayden." Aaron giggled. "I'm sorry. We had a cookie dough fight." I groaned. "Aaron. This is going to take a year to clean!" "This could be your Christmas present for next year then" Aaron laughed. "You and Chris clean this up right now while I wrap your present." Aaron squealed. "Oh babe. I can't wait to open it!" I couldn't help but smile at his excitement.

David and I were upstairs wrapping presents for the 2 boys and Kenny who was coming. I was excited. I haven't seen Kenny in forever.

We set every present under the tree. There were 2 for all of us. Even me. It was cool. "Alright, babe. Thanks for cleaning up." I kissed him and grabbed his waist. He moaned. "Oh my god, guys. We're in the room!" Chris complained. I rolled my eyes and grabbed Aaron's butt.

Kenny came over on Christmas eve. "Kenny!" Everyone cheered in unison whenever he walked in. We all hugged him and had a glass of hot chocolate. He told us stories of his family and set an arm full of presents under the tree. The tree was looking really good.

"Alright, everyone. It's 12. I'm wimping out." I told everyone. Aaron followed close behind. "Goodnight, Hayden. We love you." Chris said. "I love you guys too." Aaron kissed me with more tongue than he has all day. "I love you. Goodnight." "I love you too, baby. "

The next morning Aaron woke everyone up at 8. He was so excited. Everyone was downstairs with their coffee by 8:30. I handed out presents. We all opened at the same time. I got drum sticks and a watch. Kenny got a framed photo and cookies in a tin. Chris got a best friend bracelet and a razor and David got a pocket knife and a popcorn popper. I was sooo excited to see Aaron open his ring.

He unwrapped it. It seems like it took 10 years. He gasped. "Hayden!!" His eyes filled with tears "Babe. Stop. Don't cry." He hugged me. "I love it. I love you." He leaned on my shoilder like a kid. I had a big puddle of tears on my shirt. It was alright though. "I'm never leaving you, Aaron. I promise to stay until one of us proposes for marriage." He kissed me over and over all over my face. "Thank you!" He put it on and it fit perfectly." He wrapped his arms around my neck and sat in my lap "Merry Christmas, Hayden. I love you." "I love you too." I said as I kissed his temple.

Geez, guys I'm sorry. I really hate Christmas. It's so busy. I don't really have much of an excuse to not write and I'm sorry this chapter is so short. Anyways, thanks for reading and vote and comments are appreciated.
