Chapter 12

Hayden's point of view

I heard him clearly and I knew it was true, but I was still just so shocked. It's so obvious he likes me...it's obvious I like him too though. He thinks this is just for pretend, but to be honest, I never wanted to pretend in the first place. It was just easier to lie to him than to actually ask him out. I sighed to myself, completely forgetting I was with him, or that I was even driving.

"I just confessed my love for you and all you do is sigh?" Aaron shouted. "Aaron. You're so dramatic." He got louder "You have to take some things in life seriously, Hayden! Everything isn't a big joke!" I giggled. "It isn't funny. I'm serious. You're an 8 foot tall kid. You act like a kid." "Let me say something. Since I'm acting so much like a kid and screaming at you while you're fucking driving, I just wanted to remind you of that fucking kiss at the wedding. You know, the one that left us speechless. Just think about it, Aaron." The car ride went silent for a few minutes all of a sudden Aaron gasps. "What?" I asked "You do love me!" Tears welded up in his eyes. He leaned over to hug me. "I'm driving." I pushed him off. "At least let me pull over. Damn." Aaron couldn't stop smiling. "Can we stop by a drive thru. I didn't eat at the wedding." We pulled through. "Yeah. I didn't eat much either. I'm pretty hungry too."

We continued to drive. Just 45 more minutes till we were back to the beach house. Aaron ate on the rest of his fries and drank from my sweet tea. "Why didn't you say anything?" He suddenly went serious. "It's obvious, Aaron. See, like I knew you liked me when you kept staring at me on tour, but you never told me anything until now. I thought we were just going to be casual about this. "Casual, like do nothing and forget our feelings for each other casual?" I rolled my eyes "No, I thought we were already dating." "No. You kissed me at the wedding, which was just for pretend." It was true.

We pulled up to the drive way. It was about 11. "Babe. I'm tired." "Go to bed. I'll be there later, okay?" He got out of the car and kissed my cheek. He is so cute sometimes.

I made sure Chris and David made it home before I even changed into my pajamas. I decided to call them. "Hey, Hayden! We're close. Don't worry about us." I could hear David singing in the background. "Are you guys drunk?" I asked, concerned. "David's high. He told me I couldn't smoke until I quit driving." I laughed that was so them. "Hey." Chris said "yeah?" I answered. "Go to the beach. We should build a bon fire." "Ehh..I don't know. Aaron is sleeping." "C'mon. You never hang out with us anymore." I see them pull up. "We got weed. Let's go." David got out of the car and ran to the beach, a shirtless Chris following close behind him. I laughed and decided to the join them.

Chris passed me the blunt. "Okay. Guys. I need a cool way to ask Mr. Princess out." David gasped. "You guys aren't dating yet?" "Nah. I want to though. He's a special guy." They both aw'd. "Just take him out all day tomorrow. He'll love it." It wasn't a bad idea. I went to get up. "Hold up, Hayden. I have enough to roll up one more." We all started laughing and smoked the last blunt.

I wrote a note on the door. "Good morning, princess. Get dress. We have a big day." I wrote that down on a piece of paper and crawled into bed with him.

Aaron's point of view

I saw the note Hayden left on the door. Oooh. I was so excited. I got dressed instantly and ran to the living room. "Good morning." Hayden said as he was eating cereal and sitting up on the island. "You're not even dressed! What was with the note?" He smiled "You'll see." Hayden went upstairs and got dressed.

He pulled up to the park. We walked around the whole place and held hands. I picked flowers when I saw them. I gave them to Hayden. "Aaron. You're killing every flower you pick." I giggled. "They're for you." He ran off and started splashing water from the fountain onto me. I squealed and splashed him back. He handed me and penny. "Make a wish." We both made our wish and flipped our pennies into the fountain at the same time. "I'm getting a little bored he said." We went to the car.

He then took me to the arcade. We played air hockey together. It was so intense until he won. We then played Mrs. Pac Man. I won at that. We played every single game in the arcade. He told me to go to the bathroom real quick, so I did.

Hayden's point of view

While he was in the bathroom, I took our tickets and put them together to buy him a puppy holding a heart. It costs 700 tickets. We had 766 all together. He was so happy to get it.

Aaron's point of view

Hayden! I love it! It was the cutest puppy in the world.

We went to the carnival afterwards. I was deathly afraid of rollercoasters, but we played little games and he let me paint my face. It was fun. By the end of that, we had plenty of stuffed animals. I loved them all equally. We were still holding hands. "Babe. I just want to take you one last place." It was a little hard to take him seriously when he looked like a kitty.

We pulled up to a restaurant. It wasn't a chain and it wasn't fancy, but it looked very nice. We ordered and he just kept smiling at me. We ordered margaritas. We ate and laughed. We were being very loud, but I didn't care. I was having fun with Hayden. My 3rd drink was served and whenever I finished it, I saw a ring in it. The inside band said "Will you be mine." My jaw dropped. I screamed. "Will you be my boyfriend, Aaron?" I got up from my seat and kissed him. I didn't care who saw. I was crying. I was so happy. "Yes. Yes, Hayden. I will be yours." He hugged me super tightly as I cried on his shoulder. "I love you." He told me. "I love you too, Hayden."

He was mine and that's all I cared about.

A/N: Hey guys! I hope you liked this chapter! I love you guys. Does anyone have any ideas on what the next chapter could be about. I was thinking about having it be the smut chapter. I'm not sure. Well, I love you guys! Awolnation is in my state next week! I'm so excited. Also. I feel like I should have like a closure for each chapter. Like how Wylie had "Peace, love, in the American way." Something cool like that. We should come up with one together. I love you guys.
