Chapter 16

Aaron's point of view

I'm really glad Hayden isn't grieving over those stupid twitter comments anymore. It really shouldn't matter what they think. I love him and that's all that matters

"Babe." Hayden was sitting upside down in a chair. He flipped over and landed in the floor he got up. "Yeah?" I sighed "I kinda wanted to talk to you about something kinda serious." Hayden looked kinda worried. I sat down on the couch and crossed my legs. He sat down too. "What is it?" I was a little nervous of his reaction. "I had so much fun playing with the baby at the photo shoot. I have been thinking about this since we got together. I want to have a baby, Hayden.

Hayden froze. "Aaron.." I interrupted "Hayden. We've almost been together for a year now and it's not like we didn't love each other before...I so think we're ready." He sighed. "Aren't we suppose to propose and get married and everything?" He asked. "Do you really see us breaking up..like ever?"

Hayden's point of view

Aaron had a point. We were in love with each other and it would be pretty cool to have a little baby running around here. I just don't know if I was ready to settle down yet.  "Aaron. I've been thinking about it too..and I didn't want to tell you about this, but Tara said she would be a surrogate for us. She offered." Aaron shrugged. "I kinda wanted to adopt, but I would also want a new born baby." He said. "It was really sweet of her to offer." Hayden nodded "I can talk to her tomorrow about it...just talk though. Nothing promised yet." He hugged me "I love you!"

I asked Tara out on a coffee date. It's been a couples months since I've seen her. "Hayden!" She hugged me. "How have you been?" She just shrugged "What?" I asked. "Nothing. Just kinda boring. Nothing bad, but nothing good." I nodded "Are you still with Thomas?" She nodded "Just as good as ever." Our coffee came out and we sat down.

"The reason I asked you out was I wanted to ask you something." She put her drink down "What is it?" She asked. I took a deep breath. "Tara..me and Aaron have been thinking, and we want to have a baby." Her eyes widened. She smiled. "Hayden! That's wonderful news!" I nodded "but we were asking if you would be our surrogate." She teared up. "Tara. Honey." I grabbed her hand and took her outside. "Shh. Don't cry." She held onto me so tight "I've always wanted to be a surrogate mother." She said when she was finally calm enough to talk. I smiled "So you'll do it??" She hugged me. "Of course!" I picked her and swung her around kissing all over her face. "Thank you thank you! Aaron's gonna be so happy. You're the best friend anyone could ask for, Tara." She blushed. "You too Hayden...hey, do you need a ride home. I noticed you were walking." I shook my hand. "It isn't a far walk. I think you should go talk to Thomas about what you're doing though." She nodded and hugged me bye. "Thanks again, Tara." She waved and got in her car. The second she left, I called Aaron.

"Hey." He answered "She said she would do it." I could hear him screaming. "We're going to need to go by a doctor's office and everything. We'll do it tomorrow. Are you excited?" I could tell he was crying "Yes. Oh my god. I can't believe this is happening." I giggled. "I'll be home in a minute, okay?" Aaron made a kiss noise into the phone.

When I got into the door, Aaron immediately hugged me. I kissed him like I was never going to ever again. "I love you so much. I'm so excited for this baby." I shhed him. There was a chance that Thomas said no, and I don't want to get all of the guys excited and then it turns out he says no. I heard my phone ringing. "Hello?" Answered Aaron. Aaron put it on speaker. "Hey, Aaron. Could you tell Hayden that Thomas is alright with everything and is even kinda excited for you guys?" I gasped. "Yep. I'm carrying your guy's baby." Aaron started to cry again. "Thanks, Tara. We'll take you to the doctor tomorrow." I could tell she was smiling. "Alright guys. I'll see you both tomorrow."

Aaron woke me up. "Get up. We got to take Tara to the doctor." He was so excited. I called Tara. "Hey. I'll be ready in a few minutes, so you could probably already be on your way." She said. I got up and showered really quick. "Aaron. Come on. We're gonna be late!" Aaron came running. We drove down the road and got Tara. "Hey boys." She greated. "Hey!" I said enthusiastically "How have you been, Aaron? I don't think we've met yet." Aaron shook his head. "We haven't, but we know everything about each other."

"Hello, Mrs. Doster. What was your appointment on again?" Tara smiled. "I would like to be a surrogate mother for this couple." She pointed to me and Aaron. "What a wonderful thing you are doing, Mrs. Doster. A lot of women wouldn't do this." We all smiled. "Can I get a sperm sample from the volunteer father?" Aaron looked down at his feet "uhm." I spoke up "Could we both give you a sample and you not tell us which one you used?" The nurse nodded "A lot of couples ask us to do that." She gave us a jar and sent us with her.

"You see, we can't do it the 'old fashioned way'" she did finger quotes, "because the sperm dies very quickly when it leaves the body, so we literally have inject it into your friend. It sounds painful, but your friend is doing a great thing for you 2. After that we will give her a pregnancy test and try as many times as we need to." She explained. We nodded. We gave our sperm samples and then she called Tara in.

The doctor asked us to wait outside. We went to the starbucks that was in the hospital and read magazines. It was about 20 minutes later and the nurse called us back into the room. "Congratulations you 2, Tara Doster is carrying your guy's future baby." I teared up and Aaron hugged me. I kissed him and then hugged Tara. I'm going to be a father and I couldn't be more excited.
