Yujin tapped her pen against her notebook, trying to focus on the lecture. But her mind kept drifting back to the text she had received from her university seatmate and friend, Y/n. It read, "Can you do me just one favor?"

After the class, Yujin hurried to catch up with Y/n as he made his way out of the lecture hall. "Hey, what's this favor you need?" she asked, falling into step beside him.

Y/n turned to her, a nervous expression on his face. "I need you to be my fake girlfriend for my brother's wedding," he blurted out.

Yujin blinked in surprise. "Your fake girlfriend? What do you mean?"

Y/n sighed, running a hand through his hair. "My family has been nagging me about being single for too long. I can't face them alone at the wedding. So, I thought if I had a fake girlfriend, they'd finally leave me alone."

Yujin raised an eyebrow, trying to stifle a chuckle. "And you want me to be that fake girlfriend?"

Y/n nodded, looking pleadingly at her. "Please, Yujin. It's just for the four days we'll be there. I'll owe you big time."

Yujin sighed, shaking her head with a smile. "You really know how to get yourself into these situations, don't you?"

Y/n grinned sheepishly. "So, will you do it?"

Yujin rolled her eyes playfully. "Fine, I'll do it. But you owe me a month's worth of free coffee."

Y/n laughed in relief and pulled her into a quick hug. "Thank you, Yujin. You're a lifesaver!"

As the days passed, Yujin and Y/n prepared for the upcoming wedding. They went shopping for suitable attire, rehearsed their fake love story, and even practiced holding hands without feeling awkward. Yujin couldn't help but find the whole situation absurdly amusing.

Finally, the day of the wedding arrived. Yujin and Y/n arrived at the venue, both dressed to the nines. Yujin couldn't deny that Y/n looked quite handsome in his suit, and she felt a twinge of pride at being his "fake" date.

The wedding ceremony was beautiful, and Yujin couldn't help but notice the longing glances Y/n's relatives shot in their direction. She had to admit, they made a convincing couple. As the night went on, Yujin found herself enjoying the charade more than she had expected.

During a slow dance, Y/n pulled her close, and for a moment, they both forgot it was all pretend. Yujin rested her head on his shoulder, feeling surprisingly comfortable in his arms. Maybe it was the romantic atmosphere, but she couldn't deny the spark of something real between them.

After the wedding, as they walked back to their hotel, Y/n turned to Yujin with a thoughtful expression. "You know, this fake relationship thing doesn't feel so fake anymore."

Yujin's heart skipped a beat as she met his gaze. "Yeah, I was thinking the same thing."

Y/n smiled, a genuine warmth in his eyes. "Would you want to give this a real shot, Yujin? I mean, us"

Yujin's heart raced at the unexpected question. She had never considered the possibility of something real developing between them when she agreed to be Y/n's fake girlfriend. But as she looked into his eyes, she couldn't deny the growing attraction she felt for him.

"I... I think I would," Yujin replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

Y/n's smile widened, and he reached for her hand, intertwining his fingers with hers. "I'm so glad to hear that. I've realized that I don't want this to be fake anymore. I want us to be real."

Yujin felt a warmth spreading through her, and she couldn't help but return his smile. "I want that too, Y/n."

As they reached the hotel, they continued to talk, sharing stories, and getting to know each other on a deeper level. The more they talked, the more Yujin realized how much she enjoyed Y/n's company. He was funny, kind, and surprisingly thoughtful. It didn't take long for her to see why his family was so eager for him to find someone.

The following day, they attended a brunch with Y/n's family, and to their surprise, the relatives seemed genuinely pleased to see them together. Y/n's aunt even whispered to Yujin, "You two make such a lovely couple. I hope this isn't just for show."

Y/n's cheeks turned pink, but he smiled and squeezed Yujin's hand under the table. "It's not for show, Auntie. Yujin and I are together."

Yujin's heart fluttered at his words, and she couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness. It seemed that their fake relationship had turned into something real, and she couldn't have been more thrilled.

As the weekend came to a close, Yujin and Y/n returned to Seoul, feeling closer than ever. They continued to spend time together, going on dates, and getting to know each other's friends. It felt like a dream come true, and Yujin couldn't believe how much her life had changed in just a few days.

One evening, as they strolled through a park, Y/n stopped and turned to Yujin, a nervous look on his face. "Yujin, there's something I've been meaning to ask you."

Yujin felt her heart race with anticipation. "What is it?"

Y/n took a deep breath. "Will you be my real girlfriend? I know this all started as a fake relationship, but I've come to realize that you mean so much more to me than that."

Yujin's eyes lit up with joy, and she threw her arms around him. "Yes, Y/n! I want to be your real girlfriend."

They shared a sweet, lingering kiss, feeling the weight of uncertainty lift off their shoulders. As they walked hand in hand through the park, Yujin couldn't help but feel grateful for that one favor Y/n had asked of her. It had led them to something beautiful and real, and she couldn't wait to see where their budding relationship would take them.

And so, what had started as a fake relationship for the sake of a wedding had blossomed into a genuine love story, proving that sometimes, the most unexpected situations can lead to the most wonderful outcomes.
