Chapter two

Suddenly the police came charging in, Lily only had to take a small guess who had called them.

After that, lily's father told her he had a meeting, that he wanted her to witness, as Mia was going to be there as well, he said it was only right that she was there too.

When she got down into her fathers and the other twos 'secret lair' ( as lily liked to call it), the chief of police was there. Lily frowned and raised an eyebrow at Mia who simply shrugged.

Lily sighed and went to sit on the sofa, in between Mia and Mr Fickelgruber, Lily looked at Felix who looked rather unsettled after what happened outside.

' I'm sorry... that I couldn't help you down' Lily whispered whilst her father and Mia's father were talking to the chief.

Felix looked at her, raising an eyebrow, ' hm? Oh... it's quite alright... however I can ensure it will not happen again.'

' how?'

Just as Felix was about to speak, Slugworth addressed the room, ' right, girls, as you know... that Wonka' he said wonka's name like it physically hurt him to say, ' must be stopped!'

' quite right... but how' Mia agreed with her father, she was already in bad books for moving away from him when he tried to get her to help him.

' well... the chief here... should be some help'

' what? Oh, we've already moved him along, I can't do anymore than that!' The chief insisted.

' oh? Come now Chief, you know we will make it worth your while' Slugworth said, almost sickly sweetly.

Lily didn't want to know what that meant, she hoped he just meant through money...

' look, what do you even have against this guy?'

' this Wonka Fellow is selling chocolate for one sovereign a piece, meaning even the p- p- you know, the p-' he said, making hand gestures for people lower than him.

' the poor?' The chief asked.

This caused Felix to gag into his hand, making
lily chuckled, but she coughed to cover it up when Felix looked at her.

' oh dear... I've just been a little bit sick in my mouth, please could you try refrain from speaking about that particular demographic' he said whilst wiping his mouth.

' he doesn't like it when we say Poor' Lily's father said causing him to gag again, though slightly more violently than before, Lily quickly moved closer to him, putting her hand on his back and gently rubbing in circles, praying he wouldn't throw up, as he has been known to do so at the sight of the homeless.

' are you alright?' She whispered, whilst her father and slugworth spoke to the chief

When he sat back up, she removed her hand from his back, she noticed a pink tinge to his cheeks and he nodded, ' I will be, so long as your father doesn't keep saying that word' he glared over at Prodnose causing Lily to giggle slightly, missing the look he gave her when she did so.

Mia however didn't miss a second of this interaction, smirking, fully prepared to mock her best friend over this later.

Lily stayed sat next to Felix for a while, not wanting to move away, and he didn't seem to want her to.

' right! That's all in order, girls, I think it's time you go now, the adults need to talk now' Slugworth said, in his normal condescending fashion.

' father!! We're 21! We are adults too! Can't we stay?' Mia whined

' no. You may not, this is top secret business, maybe when you prove yourselves, you may learn the biggest secrets. Until then, run along' he said, slightly glaring at the two girls

Prodnose walked over to Lily and put his hand in his pocket, ' here, go enjoy yourself'

He had always been one of the kinder of the three.

' thank you dad' lily smiled as he handed her some money, the perks of being a rich man's daughter, though she wished he had a bit more time for her rather than the business.

Not that she noticed, but as Mia and Lily walked out, Felix looked rather disappointed to see her leave, he had an odd feeling about Lily, he had never felt like this before, being the youngest in the Chocolate Cartel, he didn't want to ask the other two men who were in their (mid to late) 30s about feelings. Especially when 'business men do not display their emotions for the world to see'.

So he kept quiet and just watched the two girls go, trying to work out why he was upset that the blond girl was leaving.

So I'm gonna say that Fickelgruber is about 27-28 in this, as wonka is 47 in the original book and film, Wonka, is set 25 years earlier making Willy 22, so im gonna say the chocolate cartel are a few years older than him. It's rough estimate but yk.
