Recap;
This however gave Mia an idea... one that she decided not to tell Lily, however she would speak with her father about later.

The two eventually got home, and Lily went up into her father's house and to her room, to go find a hobby, whilst Mia worked on her scheme. It would be perfect, it would help the chocolate cartel and Lily all at once! Just to put it into action.

The next day, Slugworth, Mia and Felix were in the living room of Prodnoses house, Felix looking particularly annoyed, and Mia and Slugworth looking pleased.

' ah gentlemen!' Prodnose said as he opened the front door, ' Mia. Shall I get Lily?' He asked, never wanting Mia to be involved if Lily wasn't.

' actually yes.' Slugworth said, ' we must have a conversation with her, Mia has given me a delightful idea'

Lilys father gave Slugworth a distrusting look, glancing at a very frustrated Felix, but nodded and went to get his daughter who was about to dry her hair after a shower.

'Lilibeth!' He called through her bedroom door, getting a shout in reply, he said, ' I know you're busy, but would you mind coming to the living room! Arthur needs to speak with you!'

Within the room, Lily groaned, she just wanted 5 minutes to herself... why did the Cartel have to take up every single moment.

Rolling her eyes, Lily walked out of her room, hair dripping down her back making her cringe, she hated that feeling.

She walked into the living room, raising an eyebrow at the audience that awaited her.

Whilst she was sitting down, she missed the intake of breath from Felix, she looked particularly good with wet hair... he frowned, why was he thinking like this....?
This was one of his closest... acquaintances daughter.

' please can we make this quick, I hate the feeling of wet hair.' Lily sighed, making Slugworth chuckle.

' of course dear. We needed to talk to you because Mia here had a wonderful idea.' He said, completely dropping his daughter in it, making mia glare at him. 'You see, this Wonka was seen yesterday selling more chocolate... and we realized we need someone on the inside...'

' right...' Lily muttered, not liking where this was going.

' he wants you to go and get... close with Wonka.' Felix said gruffly, sounding more angry than she had ever heard him... must be having a bad day.

' by close you mean...?'

' well... you could... you know... become accustomed, you're about the same age and he looked rather enthralled with you the other day...' Slugworth said, making Lilys eyes widen.

' what?! No! I- no, couldn't Mia do it?!' Lily cried glaring at her so called best friend. She wouldn't be used to get close to Wonka.

' well... you see mia is in the middle of her training so I really cannot allow her to go.'

'Father! Father you can't possibly agree with this!' Lily tried, looking at her father, who just shook his head.

' Arthur and Mia have a point... we need someone close to Wonka.'

Lily felt like the only sane one in the room, shaking her head, tears filling her eyes, she stood up.

' g-give me a minute. Please.' She said before rushing out the room.

Felix watched her leave, something about that pulled at his heart strings ( which contrary to popular belief, he did have one)

He looked at the others who were too busy talking about all this, in his head, Felix knew how wrong this was, not just because he had feelings for Lily but also morally it felt wrong...

Noticing that the other men weren't paying attention, Felix quietly left the room to find Lily. He felt a weird need to comfort her, he had never felt that about anyone... then again, no one had ever been as kind as she was to him, and meant it.

Eventually he found her sitting on the floor in a corridor, crying her eyes out with her face in her hands, normally he would see this as an overreaction but he felt nothing but sympathy for her.

'Lilibeth? A-' he cleared his throat softly, ' are you alright?' He asked, repeating her question from the day before.

' I-' her voice cracked as she lifted her head to look at him, ' o-oh uh, Mr Fickelgruber! I-' she quickly began wiping her eyes trying to hide that she had been crying, ' I'm fine!' She said forcing a smile.

Felix sighed looking down at her before reaching out a hand to help her up. She took his hand, feeling warm inside when she did, when she was up, she dusted herself off.

' we both know you are not fine... I- ... I wanted you to know I don't agree with this... idea they've got... there are more ways to get to that silly fake than sending you in... risking your life being around those... p-p-' he did his typical hand signal making her know what she meant.

' risking my life?' She giggled softly

' well yes! You don't know what diseases they could have! They could have the plague!' He cried, looking her dead in the eyes with a playful smile on his face reserved for very few people.

Lily threw her head back in a laugh, ' you're being silly now.' She chuckled.

He smiled softly at her, ' yes but it made you laugh'

Lily smiled at the older man, she couldn't help but admire his features, his dark eyes and pencil like mustache.

After a moment this because awkward so Felix cleared his throat, ' you know you don't have to... go and be with that... Wonka boy. I could convince the others to come up with something new...'

Lily looked up at him surprised, ' you'd do that? For me??'

Felix nodded softly, ' I don't agree with whoring people out for people's own benefit.'

Lily raised an eyebrow, this surprised her, she had watched for years, every time Slugworth had an idea, Felix agreed...but now...

Now was different.
